Directions say to use before shampooing but may hair still seems dry to me when I do it this way. I have put a hot oil treatment after shampooing and conditioning and found that my hair is more shiny and moisturized when I do it this way. Do you use your hot oil treatment before of after shampooing?

I have naturally curly hair. It is dyed so I really can't permantly straighten it. I blowdry it straight and flat iron it with my chi flat iron every sunday and thursday. I do use heat protection and straighten balm but it takes atleast 3 hours to make it straight. What are some ways to reduce the time? And what do think of the maxiglide flat iron? Do you have any tips to keep it straight?

My hair is thick, blonde, and mid back length. I want a change that will be noticed. Right now i have a couple layers at the bottom front of my hair and a layer in the back. Also, I have long side swept bangs. Im willing to get my hair cut to mid chest length or to my shoulders. Any sites or ideas are appreciated!!!

I am in serious need of hair help. I have a lot of hair, and when I wash it, once it is dry it gets very poofy and frizzy. My hair is supposed to be naturally straight, but I've done so many things to it over the years that it is now wavy in some parts, straight in some parts, and curly in some others.

I want silky, soft, hydrated, shiny, manageable hair.

Help me!!!

Yes, such a wonderful topic isn't it. I'm sorry, but I had to ask the question directly. While there are a few questions that have broken bits of info I wanted to ask one wholly rounded question.

So how? Wax? Special type of wax? Hair removing gels?

I'm a hairy guy, and I will admit this. I'm trying to remedy this situation as well.

Lets cut it into three sections.

1) Butt: Do you shave it? I've experimented with this however, the option does not seem very good. I'm not dreading regrowth, and I almost worry "underwear safety net" has been taken offline. I'm also a bit worried about giving myself any colostomy as shaving gel is a surprisingly good lube.

2) Genitals: Shaving seems to be tough here as well. Regrowth, is going to be bad. Scratching here due to irritation just looks bad in public. Then we get to testicles! How on earth do you shave this ever shape-changing region?! Little guys, I like you! I don't want to hack you off accidentally!

3) Misc/nearby sections in areas.

I bought some cute, wittle clip bows at Hot Topic, but they never get any new styles and I really want some more.

Does anyone want to share their shop of choice with me? ^-^

I know how to blow dry my hair perfectly... I looks like if I just came out of the salon... But I don't want it to look bad in a few months... I have really really oily hair... I need to wash it like 3 times a week.
I had wavy hair... with a lot of volume and a hair dresser told my mom that I should get it relaxed, so I did... It looks great but it looks very oily after two days... Even wearing a ponytail, it doesn't look nice.
I have been washing my hair and blow drying it 3 times a week for like almost 3 years.. But now I got a proffesional blow drier and I am concerned it will damage my hair.

What should I do to make my hair less oily... or to make sure I don't damage it?

He's 12 and has had a mohawk cut for a year now- about 2 - 3 inches long depending on the last barbers visit. the sides are a number 1 cut! his hair is actually curly if you leave it alone. we can get it strait using straighteners and can get it to stick up using various gels/waxes/hairspray etc but it never stays up long!! any suggestions of best products - or ideas would be fab! relying on your experience!
