My 5 yr old has her first Daddy-Daughter dance this friend at school. What are some easy cute up-dos I can try? Her hair is very easy to work with and to the middle of her back.

Maybe I should add that we do her hair just about every day. And no, I'm not talking scary beauty queen do her hair, I mean putting the front up, pigtails, ponytail, braids, the classic stuff so I'm looking for a very fancy (but hopefully easy) style. Keep the answers coming!!

when i was in a wedding once i had my hair braided upside down (from the bottom up) and then my hair was all curled and bobby pinned to the side.
you could do big curls with hot rollers, or a large barrel curling iron.
go with something simple, you probably dont want her to look like one of those scary beauty contest kids :)

Well since she is five she will probably be thrilled with anything you do with her hair. A simple bun would be cute or maybe adding some braided segments of hair into the bun? Or leaving half of it down w/ the top half braided. Or the top half in a bun w/ braids in it. Sit her in front of a movie, so she sits still, & braid random little sections of hair & put it up. Distract her & play around with it for a while, you'll figure something out.

Oh fun for her!
Pigtails of course are a classic, a braid that loops around her head in fairly easy to do to, seeing as her hairs so long....

If you know how to braid... or think you can learn, this is the prettiest ..and cutest style ever!
Have her flip her head upside down and do a french bread from the nape of the neck to the top, put it in a pony tail and then curl it!

Use hot rollers in her hair and then pull it up and pin the curls to make it look like it took a really long time to do. Its easy and always looks great!
