I know how to blow dry my hair perfectly... I looks like if I just came out of the salon... But I don't want it to look bad in a few months... I have really really oily hair... I need to wash it like 3 times a week.
I had wavy hair... with a lot of volume and a hair dresser told my mom that I should get it relaxed, so I did... It looks great but it looks very oily after two days... Even wearing a ponytail, it doesn't look nice.
I have been washing my hair and blow drying it 3 times a week for like almost 3 years.. But now I got a proffesional blow drier and I am concerned it will damage my hair.

What should I do to make my hair less oily... or to make sure I don't damage it?

Try the honey thing. All you have to do is work some honey into you hair, and let is sit for maybe 5 minutes and then wash it out in the shower. Honey is water soluble so it will come out in the shower. There are a lot of beneficial thing for your hair in honey like proteins, natural hydrocarbons, and the enzymes that are good for your follicles.

I have oily hair too, but it damages easily. I usually use a good shampoo, I like Garneir, use a little conditioner on the ends, and then blow dry it. It seems to help the damage without getting to oily.

wash it everyday! if i dont wash my hair everyday, it gets really oily. if you are worried about damaging your hair, use a mild shampoo. Tresseme is what i use and it doesnt weigh my hair down or anything. washing it more wont make it more damaged... and no one likes greasy hair because 1. it looks bad. 2. it smells bad.

make sure you dont put conditioner on any hair that is 1 inch away from your scalp.... also, avoid touching and brushing excessivly, it stimulates the scalp, which encourages oil production. and wash your hair brush often, that can redeposit oil.
