My hair was pencil straight this afternoon, I went to the shore to see a friend and it was raining and humid. My hair had curled while I was there. Why does hair react to humidity? Thanks.

I washed it this morning and it's greasy already.. I tried using Shampoo for greasy hair, I tried cutting down how often I was it (was doing this for about a year on hairdressers advice) I've tried dying my hair to help dry it out!. ..It all started when I was working full time in a bar and had to wash it every day to get rid of the smell of beer & fags. . that was 5 years ago and my hair still gets greasy ridiculously quickly.. please help!

My hair is naturally wavy/curly, medium length, but whenever I try to fix it into that cute, curly almost afro, it curls really tight and cute at the bottom, but not a the top. It is just plain straight at the top. All I do to fix it is wet it, put gel in it, and then tip my head upsidedown and scrunch it, while blowdrying it on the lowest setting. I want it to look like Kimberly Roads hair in the Little Big Town music videos. Can anyone help me on how to get my hair more volume and curl at the top???

The only thing I ever do to my hair, is get it trimmed. My hair is long. It's up to my whole entire back. I am a 13 year old girl, and I don't know what to do. The girls in my "new school" are always telling me I should cut it and all that. What should I do? I want to get long layers or something but I heard it screws up your hair.

I'm just really scared though, because I haven't ever done anything to my hair brefore. I'm afraid if I look ugly. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!!?!!??!?!

I have really fine, thin hair and the styles out now are just not flattering. I always liked the spiral perm. I would even be happy with a body wave of some kind...something!

Anybody know if perms will come back?

Okay the ? says it all and i asked 1 like this yesterday, but i really need help to volumize my hair. It is a really pretty golden blonde with light highlights, and i have a really cute cut (Side bangs...maybe 4 inches past my shoulder...i'm really not bragging but i just got it cut yesterday...i'm so happy....lol....that was kinda childish!!!! But i really need help with how flat it is. It's a little wavy, i don't mind that, i'm not really in to the whole "U have 2 have straight, straight, hair or else ur not cool..." but that isn't the prob. I just need help to make it look like i have more of it, and like it goes up higher and out wider. I've tried sunsilk, and yesterday i got advice on blow drying ur hair upside down (that might really helped, haven't tried it yet) and i was listed a bunch of hair products, and told to put my hair up in a ponytail on the topof my head whenever isleep, and use less conditioner, but is there anything else u can say I have layers and that dont work :)

I got my hair layered a long time ago, and it doesn't look like it's layered, cause it's been a while. I want to start curling my hair more, if I layer my hair will it look good curled? Or should I just get it all the same length?

my hairstylist always says buy the more expensive hair but i dont see why i should spend 80 dollars when im perfectly fine with the 25 dollar hair. Also I was wondering can the expensive hair get wet and does it get knotty like the cheaper hair?

Well i want my hair to have some style technique to it like something i can use or do to my hair (ex. curls, ponytails, etc.) and how to do that---

given my hair type (above), I want suggestions or refrence to sites, etc which could tell me.. a casual, everyday style i could wear my hair. I usually gel them after shower n leave it.. but sometimes to see tht noodle on my head.. really annoys me.. any suggestions?? boyfriends hair is very lank and lifeless and I have told him to get a body perm he is not sure about it and I have offered to curl his hair with my rollers to see if he likes it that way

ok so im muslim and you know how in our religion we have to cover.I cant show my hair but i can only wear it up at school.I wear it down at parties and stuff but i dont get why i cant? i mean a lot of mulims wear there hair down too and i dont see anything wrong with it.
