I had a beautician tell me that it doesn't make your hair grow but it keeps your hair from breaking off. It requires you to sit under the hair dryer vs. blow drying and it requires minimal styling with heated tools. Also if you tie it up at night with a satin scarf that helps with breakage. The less breakage the longer your hair is.

Tips
-if you can, wash hair every other day or every two days-it just depends how oily your hair gets.
-leave conditioner on for 10 minutes at least and don't put it on roots.
-drink lots of water and eat a lot of protein such as meat and peanut butter cause your hair is made from protein.
-always use a leave in conditioner for split ends.
-trim hair once a month since split ends stops hair growth.
-use heat protection every time.

wrapping or anything you put on your hair cannot and will not let it grow any faster. once hair is visible it is dead . the only thing that make hair grows is proper nutrition and exercise, taking care of your hair by keeping it clean and condition, trimming split ends and taking vitamins e, Biotin and lots of vitamin bs. these will definitely give you longer stronger beautiful hair but wrapping, I have been wrapping for years if that's the case my hair would be down my butt.
