i think i have dandruff also. is it possible dandruff is causing
hair loss?..i do see some short hair sticking out. is that mean
that hair is growing back?
also, what is best dandruff shampoo and conditioner. right now i'm using Neutrogena Triple Moisture Active Soothing Shampoo and Conditioner. is this good for dandruff?

I thought I would ask another quick question thats been on my mind. My hair has been thinning for quite awhile now and its starting to look really bad and noticable. I had almost no period for about 4 months due to irregularity so my doctor put me on birth control pills to help me out with my hormones. My period has been normal for months now but my hair just keeps falling out. I went back a few months later to have some blood tests and they said my hormone levels looked fine. I went to see a hair specialist and he didn't really say anything except, "This stuff happens after hormonal changes and it should grow back eventually." The question is, how long will that take? I've been using Nioxin shampoo for thinning hair, but does anyone have some suggestions? I'm only 20 so this is kinda scary. >_<

I've been wanting to do something different with my hair... I don't know what though? I've thought of getting extreme high and extreme low lights, or blonde with the hair underneath black? maybe layering it, or throwing some bangs(not the bangs that go straight accross but by parting my hair far to one side and kind of slicking them accross my forehead? I dunno, what do ya think? here's a pic of me now:

I've had white flakes in my hair for months now and I don't know what they are. They never itch and they seem to like sticking to individual hair strands. When I use dandruff shampoo they always come back. I know they are not lice so are there any other kinds of bugs that can get into your hair? Please help...

I dyed my hair blue about 5 times because I really liked it. I didn't bleach it beforehand. Then it turned to a greenish color, which I hate so I'd dye it blue again. Now I'd like to go back to my original hair color (which is light brown) and nothing I've tried so far has worked. I don't want to use hair stripper or bleach. Ideas?
thanx

I normally use good shampoo and conditioner but was forced to use a cheap one when my good one ran out. Now my hair feels really greasy even after washing it twice. What can I do to make my hair look and feel less greasy? I cant run out to the store to buy good shampoo or conditioner and I have to go to school tomorrow....

I dyed my hair black over a year ago, and have kept up maintaining the color...my hair grows REALLY slowly, and only about an inch of my roots are vvisible since i have not kept up with the dye. Ive tried using lighter colored dyes over top of the black, but ot no avail....is there any natural way to remove the color? or anything that isnt bleach? Please help!

I'm 25 with blonde hair just past my shoulders, but it's horrible. I don't know what to do with it and I don't have much time or money. My current routine is to wash and condition most nights and either just brush it or put it in a pony tail once it's dry. HELP!!!

I colored my hair 3 days ago with a permanent black. I was looking for a temporary color but couldn't find one, so I took the risk with the permanent type. I wish I hadn't. I don't like it. How long should I wait before I can safely change my hair back to it's natural or another color? I was told at least 3 months, but is there anything I can do before then?

I know it is to remove hair, but is it like waxing kind of by getting the hair out of the roots and does it hurt and for how long do you have to have it on there?

I was just wondering if it is more comfortable to repeatedly shave your pubic hair, or let it grow naturally. I have shaved it - and have gotten a little itchy since it is the first few days. Should I continue to shave, because I could see where it can be comfortable if my area becomes used to being shaved - or does the irritation get worse.
Also - for the girls, is it more attractive for a guy to shave his pubic hair, or is it more attractive when there is hair. Will you want to have vaginal sex with a guy more or less? Will you want to have oral sex with a guy more or less?
Thanks.

I want to get my hair cut, and have an idea. It's kind of emo-ish but for Pete's sake i'm not emo, an emo poser, trying to have emo hair, etc. I just want this darned hair cut!

Anyways, it'll have shorter layers around the crown [of my head lol], and it'll be layered throughout the rest of the hair. So like...all the hair on the TOP of my head will be pushed forwards and to the side a bit so like it's a "whoosh" with my sideswept bangs. It'll be very choppy and layered, not like a patch of short hair at the top of my head. lol.

Myy hair is medium-thick, and straight for the most part. I still need to/will need to flat-iron it.
i have sideswept bangs and my hair is shoulder length.

What do you think of it?
ALSO: I need a good flat iron. Any suggestions? Around $50 or so.

Thanks!!
:P
