I got a perm a month ago, and I really like it, but my hair is pretty dried out right now and feeling sort of brittle, and I was wondering if deep conditioning would be okay? Will it take out the curl from the perm?

i use to keep my hair long and i had bangs. now its kinda short with no bangs. my job meeses my hair up because i work hard. my husband likes my hair long. should i get bangs and let it grow long or should i keep it short and trimmed? i also have a problem with it looking dull. any suggestions to help me feel better about my hair?

ok well my hair is very very curly and it is so ugly to me but othere people say it is beautiful and love it... it is really hard to straighten it and it takes to long and it is way to much money to get it permenitly straightend. then i thought about just cutting it to my ears and geting a straight wig .. i would donate my hair to cancer kids ... i dont know what to do !!

I got it colored yesterday, I just took a bath and some of the water was red, is this normal for the first wash, or did she put me semi-permanent? I hope she didn't, I wanted permanent.

Will using a hair lotion (Pink Lotion) before staightening my hair with a straightening iron be ok for protecting it? I.E, prevent it from burning? This lotion isn't specifically designed for use with a straightening iron...its kinda of oily...but it says that its "a light protective hair lotion and conditioner that is designed to protect, condition, and and moisturize hair".

I don't know if I can find a straigtening serum since I live in Grenada and they have nothing here.

Do you think sticking with the pink lotion before straightening my hair will keep it from becoming damaged? I straigthen my hair once a week. Thanks

Hi! I am a recovering home-hair-coloring-addict and I feel a relapse coming on! Please tell me how not to screw this up!

I have naturally dark blonde hair, brown eyebrows, "warm" medium skintone (I'm white, tan easily, but can also get burned), green eyes.

My hair doesn't LOOK reddish at all, but pulls ALOT of brassy gold tones when bleached. This has led to many tear-filled nights trying to torture my "Dennis-The-Menace Yellow" hair to platinum. The millionth time I did this I decided to leave it to the professionals & got much better results!

Now I'm unemployed (BROKE!) & have interviews lined up & want to look great but have BAD ROOTS on my light blonde hair. I want to dye my hair light-med brown to cover my roots and look more professional until I can afford to have it done right at a salon.

Am I gonna screw this up and regret it? What products should I use? Please help! I am such a baby about this!

I don't want to use bleach and further damage my hair. I am naturally a medium brutnette and I bleached one chunck of my hair blonde. It's stuck at this "pumpkin-peach" color in some sports. Now I need to tone it up to white/platinum. I know toner will get me there, but before I go walikng into the hair product store, I need to know what to look for!
