i love my hair when i come out of the hairdresses, but i can never get it the same when im at home - even if i spend hours on it *sighs*

they have the benefit of using both of their hands out in front of them and they've had a bit of training still really annoying though innit.

Some salons offer a free blow-drying demonstration to get the 'just out the hairdressers look'. Worth enquiring about this. Good luck.

Alot of trainig and to be honest alot of hairdresser can't do it well themselfs as good if they did to another hairdresser.

I agree with her answer we go to school learn the tips and techinques and have Lots of practice and lots of time away from our families to become great so ppl does like thier hair and comes back... what exactly are you trying to do.. you can email me directly if you wwant any tips.

They usually have better products and equipment. Ask your stylist what she uses, and buy it. Mine uses an ionizing dryer, a certain conditioner, and a smoother on my hair. I got what she used, and wow I can now have salon hair at home.

hair dressers use a lot of substances liek hairspray and etc and the good kidna too. They also went through a lot of training to knmwo which one to use fr what style and etc. It happens to me all the time

i do hair and im telling you its all about the products u use. u cant by crappy one from drug stores like walmart. u need to get them from a salon. then u just need to play around with them. everyones hair is diff. so just experiment. plus your stylist should be recommending products and showing you how to use them if they're not u need to switch stylists.

they have the ability to style your hair from all angles. i think that makes a big difference. :)

this is wat u do: if u want ur hair to look xactly like the one the hairdressers gave u, ask the hairdresser wat products they use in ur hair! then, use the products! there professionals, so they r suppose to make ur hair look BEAUTIFUL! (:
