Dampen Hair after shampooing and conditioning. Apply a marshmellow sized gel on hair and spread as if the gel was a type of smoothing creme. Blowdry and scrunch while blow drying. Pull hair into a French twist and into a bun. Keep the bun for 1 hour and liberate your hair. Voila.

I love the scrunch look - I actually just did it today! I use both gel and hair spray. Start off with wet hair and start by flipping you hair upside down. Run gel throughout all your hair starting with the back of hair and then the front (from the forehead). Make sure you get it all because if you miss a spot it looks bad once it dries (a spot of soft hair). You'll use quite a bit so don't short yourself because you'll regret it later in the day when you find soft spots and it doesn't look good. Scrunch up with your hands throughout your hair starting from the ends at first and then you can tease more once it starts coming along. Once you're sure at least the back of your hair has gel in it and is pretty well scrunched flip your hair back up and continue to work your hair by scrunching and it's nice volumized. You probably will need to put some more gel in your hair when you find spots you miss or it's not scrunching the way you want it to. Continue to scrunch until your satified with how it looks and its getting close to being dry. Flip your hair back over and spray with pretty strong hair spray (not too strong). Scrunch again to keep the shape and more volume. Flip back up and hair spray again - continuing to scrunch with hands. The back/bottom part of my head always seems to be missed even when I thought I got it so I would suggest you give that area a couple extra seconds of attention to make sure it got gel/spray. Let dry. Periodically scrunch with your hands throughout the night to keep it volumized and sexy. Maybe even take the spray with you for touch-ups.

I do it all the time. Put the gel on your hands (evenly, all over front and back), then put them through your slightly dampened clean hair at scalp line, bringing out to ends of hair. GENTLY "scrunch" (probably best described as clenching hair in your hands while making a fist.) As hair drys repeat, the more often the more curlier. I use a curl enhancer gel. , and I find this method is just as good as curlers, but I have short hair. Good luck.

You want to use a gel without alcohol in it. Put the gel in your hand more or less depending on the length of your hair. Concentrate more on the middle-end of your hair and less on the roots. I find it best to blow dry your hair upside down. Scrunch your hair with one hand cuz you have to hold the dryer with the other.

yes Matrix puts out a good gel to put on your hair and then with that big attachment that goes with the dryer so the heat doesn't blast out and as u dry it take your hands and scruntch your hair like you would as if you are making a fist while u dry it and if you are lucky to have some natural wave it will look great but if you have stick straight hair sorry!! after it dries use matrix Vavoom freezing spray and it ain'y going nowhere until u wet it!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes. With gel and rollers or around your fingers. I prefer soft rollers because you can sleep in them and the gel will be dry by morning.
