Hair - December 2006

I have an appt. tomorrow to get my hair colored/dyed/highlighted...whatever. I have never done anything to my hair, and I am ready for something new. I have really dirty blonde almost brown color hair, and a fair complexion face, and i was just wondering what I should do to my hair. I don't want any funky color, you know like not natural looking, but I want to change it to where it looks like I changed it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated

i used l'oreal recital preference natural brown on my brown hair (which has been dyed a good few months previously) and now my roots are light brown and the rest of my hair is dark?!?! ouch.. Just want to know if its safe to go out tomoz and get a dark brown to colour it all over to bablance it out again.. i know it wont be good for my hair but i wanna check its not gonna do anything disastrous!!.. i cant afford to go to a hair dresser to get it done properly!

I have medium brown hair, I dye it strawberry blonde. I looked at some pictures of myself and I'm not really sure if I like it. Can I ask a favor? Could you go to my Yahoo! 360 page and look at my pictures and tell me what you think of that color on me? And if you don't think it looks good, what color should I dye it? I just want an opinion from someone other than my Mom. I appreciate it! Thanks!

My hair is knacker through years of hair extentions (pre bonded), dye and a perm (last February). I am pregnant and want to grow my hair so all my hair can comfortabely fit into a clip when the baby comes (at the moment I need a kirby grips for the layers) It has been trimmed so I do not want it cut again til at least February. I put olive oil on my hair and sleep in deep conditioning masks.

Which is the best condition mask for hair? (regardless of price)
Which is worse for your hair washing it everyday OR washing it twice a week and drying straight using hairdryer and GHDs (with top up inbetween)

ok so your all excited for your monthly or however long ago haircut and you go to the haircut people tell them 1 INCH, maybe 2 INCHES AT THE MAX, and walk out of their feeling like you've just had the worst haircut of your life?
and relaize HOW AMAZINGLY SHORT IS IT.
makes you just want to cry, every time you look in the mirror,
i had hair up to about my belly botton, and KABOOOMM, all gone, till liek 2 inches under my shoulder, and when yours hairs been growing for soo long.
IT FEELS SO SHORTTT>

I was thinking of dyeing my hair super super light blonde (thats its natural color, but i was stupid and decided to have it dyed brunette. brunette is such a pretty color of hair, but it just darkened my appearance too much) and i was also thinking of putting in some red highlights.

Besides from that color combo, do you think that highlights in general are unattractive, not cute, and/or too fake?

I dont, but then again my idea of beauty is always a little bit off. :/

Im tired of my hair and want to get it styled. Im brunnette and I guess I have medium length (like 5in. below shoulder) My hair is already strait but tends to get messed up and frizzy throughout the day. Im so tired of it and want something that is easy to keep up with but looks good. I also want it as long as possible. Any ideas? Ive tried going places but they always screw it up. whenever i try to strighten my hair with a straightening iron( using loreal hot straight cream too and gel or moose) it doesn't straigten all the way.... it just ends up being a little bit strightened! should i turn the heat up more or what else can i do?? thx!!

hi, i have naturally curly hair, that becomes quite frizzy when dried. I hate it!! I normally use straighteners bout twice a week, but i've been told off by my hairdresser, so i would like to try other stuff! if i mousse it when wet it goes into quite tight curls, but i'd like it to be looser, and not as tight, but still not frizzy! any ideas? any products do u think i could use? any help will be appreciated, thanks!
