i have really really really thick coarse pubic hair and whenever i shave it's never smooth it's always stubaly what should i do. i don't want to get a wax because it would probably hurt too much

My best friend has a TON of long, extremely curly hair. We have tried everything to tame it, short of buzzing her head. Is there anything that ACTUALLY works on thick curly hair? We're looking for some kind of gel, or frizz control, something that enables her to wear it down for the whole day.

I bleached my hair to a yellowy-white three days ago. I did this so I could re-dye over it with a bright colour, such as red. Now my friend tells me that if I dye my hair red over the top, it will either turn orange or just fall out. Can anyone help? ><

I live in Boulder, and during the winter my hair always gets really staticy because it's so dry. How can I get rid of the static? It drives me nuts! I know that it's not because I don't use enough conditioner, so I'm not sure what else I can do.

I have had two bad experiences with Loreal products. I used an eyecream that burnt my skin. Then I used a hair dye that made my hair fall out in clumps :( I'm definately never coming near Loreal products again! Has anybody had a bad experience also?

Hey ya'll... i'm 20 - almost 21, and i have streaks of gray hair. My mom got gray hair early on too. Is it normal for a 20 year old to have some streaks of gray? Okay, so I recently got new eye glasses and wanted a change from the normal metal frames. I got the thick framed (or what most people call "emo glasses") style and don't know if they enhance my natural characteristics or what. They look a lot like this:

i inherited alopecia from my fathers side. my dad and some of my aunts have it. i first lost hair in high school then it grew back. i had thick, coarse and wavy hair in high school then when i got my hair colored it just wasn't the same. it started thinning but it still is wavy and coarse. i was really planning to have my hair rebonded or straightened but i discovered a bald spot. i am wondering if it will be harmful to my hair because of my alopecia?will it cause my hair to fall more because of the chemicals? serious answers only. mean/nonsense answers will be given a low rating or will be reported. thanks.

In my family,all the men have very hairy backs and fronts.The wives don't seem to complain,or at least not to us men.Tried shaving, my arms are not long enough to reach all over,hot wax, very painful, not for everyone.so the way I see it, if you don't like it, don't look.
