In my family,all the men have very hairy backs and fronts.The wives don't seem to complain,or at least not to us men.Tried shaving, my arms are not long enough to reach all over,hot wax, very painful, not for everyone.so the way I see it, if you don't like it, don't look.
Open to suggestions and comments.

If I loved you, it wouldn't matter that you were hairy. I'd love you no matter what. Hair and all! If you don't like the hair, especially in summer when more skin shows, a salon can take care of that discreetly.

I am absolutely astonished at all the selfish, self righteous answers that many females gave to this question.
A lot of us men, its the way our creator made us.
You same people look in the mirror and see things that you don't like about your own self. Well, guess who created you?
Go ahead, shake your fist at God. Go get your plastic surgery. You are still the SAME person under that reconstructed FAKE that our medical society does to people everyday. I will NEVER shave any body part, other than my face for ANY woman, EVER. This is just one example of how shallow people really are towards the opposite sex, then they wonder why it is SO HARD to find Mr. Right? Gee, I wonder how many of you pass up opportunity every day in your life because of such a silly, selfish issue about a man? Get Real. Men will be MEN.

Most women i know don't like hairy backs but honestly it's trivial if you find someone who loves you for you.
Waxing is probably the only good solution, unfortunately. Try a pro, maybe they could do a better job?

PFFT nothing matters if they're incredibly hot like Channing Tatum.
If you look like Channing Tatum and have a hairy back and front, I could care less. However, if you look like Nick Lachey, I wouldn't touch you with a ten foot pole with or without a hairy back.

fine hair (barely visible) is okay. thick hair front and back, to me is gross. i don't want a werewolf rubbing all over me.
you said "the wives" dont complain ...."us men". i am assuming you are married. if so, why are you asking about it. it seems it might bother you because you are the one who goes to the extreme of waxing and shaving and come on here and post about it.

girls like it when they can see all the mens muscle, the ladies in the family probarly hate it but just don't wanna admit it to start a fight, try using a product called Nair to eliminate your hair for about a couple of weeks then apply it again. hope this works!

you can try a lotion hair remover, something like nair which is a lotion that you appy and after a few minutes you wipe it off. There are a few different products on the market that do this.

I think it's gross and would be turned off to find this on a man I was dating. I don't know if it would make me go so far as to not pursue a relationship then, but it is icky.
