hi, i have naturally curly hair, that becomes quite frizzy when dried. I hate it!! I normally use straighteners bout twice a week, but i've been told off by my hairdresser, so i would like to try other stuff! if i mousse it when wet it goes into quite tight curls, but i'd like it to be looser, and not as tight, but still not frizzy! any ideas? any products do u think i could use? any help will be appreciated, thanks!

Hi, I know what you mean but i dont have nice curls my hair is between curly and straight. Well im no hair dresser but im speaking from my own experiance. You know your hairdresser told you off, well what type of hair straighteners do you use, so destroy your hair as i found out i have had 5 pairs of hair straigteners and all wrecked my hair so i invested in some GHDs well worth the money and dont tend to damage like others. As curly hair is more dry anyway this is why it frizzes, its best to use a heat protection spray,Pantene ice shine is brilliant.
Also you say you want smooth naural curls not tight ones, i recommend using a shampoo and conditioner for curly hair. Not perticulary frizz ease i find this doesnt work. Try aussie its brilliant. Then also use a leave in conditioner two. I got a leave in conditioning cream from avon and it leaves my hair smooth and protects it also. Mousse tends to damage the hair also i read on a website that people with dry hair shouldnt use mouse or gels as the chemicals in the hair week. If you have applyed the leave in conditioner let your hair dry naturally with no heat or mousse. Then you should get a slight wave or curls how you want them.

I used to use hair spary mousse water, etc everyday and my hair was becoming weeker by the day and lost its shine and everything I was only till i got some hair straigteners, a decent shampoo and conditioner and heat protection spray and i never need to use hair spary unless im going on a night out. My hair is in much better condition. Also i would recommend Some products from Lush also. They have hair moisturisers that people swear by. Id take a look at there website and see if you can find a few things. I use Godiva, rehab and retread. As they arnt made woth chemicals and not tested on animals. They dont damage the hair.

I even have dark brown thick hair for sure. whilst it particularly is dark brown it seems healthful, superb, and sounds like I even have much less hair & thinner. Thats in simple terms an phantasm, form of like once you place on black clothing, you look thinner. once I get particularly blonde highlights throughout, it seems particularly thick, broken, and sounds like I actually have a ton of hair and you would be able to work out each and every layer and perspective. a million.) dark brown skinny hair doesnt look undesirable. 2.) dark hair wont particularly make your hair look thicker in case you have skinny hair first of all. There are alot of things obtainable to make your hair look extra volumized consisting of shampoos. additionally verify you're taking a nutrition customary and consume suited nutrients. Your hair gets extra healthy.

I had the same problem and i went to the hairdressers and they cutted the inside of my hair to make it lighter and it worked!
And i straighten it couple of times a week and i use a product called "bed head" and it is really good to keep your hair straightened when you straighten it!

You could try treating your hair with FAST (Fortified Amino Scalp Therapy) shampoo and conditioner. A lot of people with frizzy hair swear by it as it improves the body and condition of hair substantially.

Try a leave in conditioner too.

This may help... I'm thinking of getting one of these http://www.boots.com/shop/category_new_template_content_rich.jsp?classificationid=1042646 (hair permanent treatment) after my friend has and it looks good. She still uses her straighteners if it is really curly, frizzy etc. but overall quite effective
