I have curly hair as well, but it's mainly frizzy, so i bought a hair straightener and have had it for two years and i love it. But if you want curly hair without the frizz there's this stuff you can buy at like walmart or anywhere really and it's called anti-frizz serum. If your broke like me then I sometimes use a tiny bit of lotion or baby oil and rub it into my hands first and then finger it thru my hair. It really works.

You need to use a shampoo and conditioner made for dry, damaged hair. They have extra moisturizers in them to help close the cuticle of your hair and keep the frizzies at bay. Getting frequent haircuts to get rid of the dry, fizzy, split ends will also help. After shampooing, use a serum based hair styler or a gel that will help hold the curl, but prevent your hair from frizzing. I would suggest using hair products from a hair styling salon. If you don't want to do that, Nexxus makes good products that you can purchase in a drug store. Pantene, Dove and Neutrogena also make good products, but the stuff from your hair stylist would be the best.

I have curly hair too. Mine looks like a spiral perm. Lucky us, right? Anyway, I cut down on washing from everyday to once or twice a week. However, I condition my hair every day. After conditioning I use TIGI Curls Rock amplifier. It works great. Good luck!!!
