Hair - December 2006

i just want to dye my sons mohawk but he doesnt want the rest of his head dyed.We put vaseline at the base and bleached it and now we are trying to figure out how to dye the mohawk the color he wants.Should i just dye in parts and foil it?

I have been having having my hair professionally highlighted for about 9 years now. It is naturally dark brown and I usually have blonde and caramel highlights put in it. My hair is about shoulder length. It has been so long since I've done it last that the roots are now about 4 inches long and I have a lot of grey in it. I can't afford to have it professionally done right now, and I'd like to just do something it ot myself right now. I don't want the natural dark brown, I like it when it's lighter, but the ends are still blonde. Any suggestions of what to do with it?

i am getting ready to die my hair for the first time. my hair is a light brown almost dirty blonde. does any one know a hair coloring sight were you can virtually color you hair. or a way to edit your own photos? or just any sujestions on what color to die my hair. my school does not allow any unatral colors. so if you could answere these questions that would be great. thanks

I am getting ready for a state level pageant and I want to get a sewn in weave. My hair is really short and really thick, I can hardly even pull it into a pony tail! It has to look ver natural so braids are out of the question. I want the style below my shoulders, slightly layered and with swoop bangs. When I say, "really good" I mean one that wont totally destroy my hair but that will also cover well and last more than a few days! I used to use Feria and was always really happy with it, but the last time I did it, it washed out quickly. HELP!

I had someone bleach the tips of my locs (a.k.a dreadlocks) over a year ago. I get a lot of compliments on it but I HATE it. I have tried several times to darken it but the color either doesn't take, or barely gets in there. The only thing that worked was a red rinse but of course that was only a temporary fix. Can anyone recommend anything permanent I can do to get my hair back to dark brown or maybe even a reddish brown? Can I do it myself or do I need a pro?
