try using a highlighting comb, or put on gloves and do it with your hands

do the same thing use Vaseline liberally all over where you do not want to "stain" just put it on the scalpe tho
most dyes need the air to "activate" the chemicals I don't reccomend foiling
I have done my hair every color in the rainbow and then some as well as my nephews
manic panic and the other dies you might find at hot top
are veggie based and are hard to get out
also you can buy stain remover from sally's beauty supply ( ask them at the counter) or use alcohol and rub them till they fade

do not use Vaseline (it clogs your follicles)
section off your hair into 3 sections. your Mohawk being in the middle. the two sides that you do not want to color put conditioner on them from scalp to end. for you Mohawk try foiling

Never tried it but what about using the caps that you use to highlight your hair. The ones that are plastic and tie at the jawline.

I would think that you could cut a section in the cap to outline the mowhawk and then color it that way? Worth a try anyway. Good luck!

I would suggest foiling it so that you have more control. Instead of using vaseline, olive oil or vegetable oil works too and isn't as messy.

Good luck

foil sounds like it would work, other wise i'd say try with a hair bag and cut a slit and pull out what you want died.
