I have been growing my hair out for a while now, I finally gave in to the temptation to cut it when it's at that awkward stage and let it keep growing. I stopped dying it so it got a lot healthier.
I have been wanting highlights for a while, (I used to always get it done somewhere) I couldn't afford the trip to the salon I went to walmart and bought a kit. (garnier nutrise) and proceeded with the attempt to do them myself. I wanted thick, so I did chunks instead of highlights with it but I did them too close together. I had dark blonde and I was going with really light streaks. My hair looks like I tried to bleach it but missed spots. It's horrible!!! How can I put it back to the way it was. I know it's harder to go from light to dark.

WTF was I thinking!!! LOL

oh by the way, a trip to the salon is out of the question. I have $20 dollars to my name to last me for 4 days.

okay, my hair is a few inches below my shoulders, and I want to grow it longer... but at the same time, I want to take some of the weight off because my hair is "heavy". Do you think I should ask the hairstylist to add layers near the top witha razor? what should i ask for?!?!

The hairdresser cut my hair too short, and it looked pretty trendy in the beginning, but now I'm beginning to feel ugly. I usually play it safe, so I told her that I wanted something long. But, we were talking while she cut (and, she's pregnant, too!), and it made her cut too much.
It's a layered cut and it just touches the nape of my neck. My face is round. Do you think hair colour will glam it up a bit?
My hair is jet black with big curls, and my skin is a medium olive. I'm also rather petite, and people think I'm just 15 now. I'm actually 22!

What should I do?

Waxing hair removes all "Baby Hair" and you have to let it grown partly back in to do it . . .?
again...Does waxing make the hair disappear eventually? Waxing hurts BAD when you do that much. One "Answerer" said that if you have dark complexion Lazer leaves BAD SCARS from the burns. If Lazer burns, then what's the answer for a dark skinned person?

So I went to get my hair cut and all over colored today...NO highlights, and it has been my experience that 'starting at X$' for a cut and color is, the more dye they use, the more they charge. Well they always have to use 2 bowls for me, and the second bowl at many differnt salons has been 10$. This cut and color 'started at 40$' and ended up being 77$. I know some salons charge for them to dry your hair and style, in my experience they ask you if you wanted it styled so that you understand they will charge for it. He cut it, colored it, used 2 bowls, and styled it. Charged me 77$ when it 'started at 40$' His card said 'manager' and he mentioned to someone during the cut that 'this is MY house' so I assumed the 77$ was HIS price for me. And not the regular run of the mill 'starting at 40$' cut and color that his other stylists charge. I didn't tip him, he didn't explain to me the price he just put it out there, so I just didn't tip him. Should I have tipped?

collarbone, and now, his arms, which leaves his chesthair in a line (like a blanket). He thinks girls don't like hair. I'm a girl, and I like it---I like burying my face in a clean hairy chest. Anyway,I think it's "split" --- some do and some don't.
(There's always Lazer.)
I'd just like to tell him I'm right---that it's evenly split---so? how many girls LIKE men with lots of hair on their bodies? (please let's hear only from those who LIKE it!)

I Have very fine and thin hair...I love to starighten it and it is brown with reddish blond natural streaks in it... it falls a little beneath my shoulders so its kinda long. but my hair gets very oily and frizzy and stringy what kind of product could I use to wash my hair, protect it and still have it not oily? And oh yeah still look good when I straighten it...Well thanks...

Hi, I was looking for some input.... which would you recommend hair rollers(what type) or curling irons for the best look? I have naturally long, thick, straight hair.

But what I want to know, is will the condition of my hair stay this way?
Or will it like slowy start to fall out, or what?
