I Have very fine and thin hair...I love to starighten it and it is brown with reddish blond natural streaks in it... it falls a little beneath my shoulders so its kinda long. but my hair gets very oily and frizzy and stringy what kind of product could I use to wash my hair, protect it and still have it not oily? And oh yeah still look good when I straighten it...Well thanks...

You need a clarifying shampoo to get rid of all the gunk and get squeaky clean hair. Choose a light conditioner in addition. Experiment with different brands. Try Biolage to begin. When your hair is conditioned and healthy the frizz is pretty much under control. But if this is not the issue try a light, extremely small amount of frizz serum. To combat the oilies you need to perhaps wash your hair more often and use prodcuts that don't have heavy ingredients. Think about a spray gel or a mousse instead of anything thick.

My hair is really thick so it's ALWAYS frizzy but my sister has thinner hair and what we use works on both of us. It's called FrizzBuster from SallyBeauty. The stuff itself looks and feels oily but you just have to make sure you don't put to much, just the smallest amount will do the trick. I love the stuff, I haven't found anything better(at least that works on my hair). It gives y our hair a shiny and soft silky feeling. Hope this was of some help!

when i use to use a straightener my hair got frizzy and puffy.. if you love ur hair straight and you dont wanna do it anymore nor worry about drying your hair out you might want to go into a salon or something ask them if you can get a relaxer. Depends on what they think. The oil might come from you playing with your hair or not washing it that much or something i have no clue..

okay what you should do..... when you wash your hair only wash your scalp and rinse it really well at least 3 min keep shampoo off your ends it will get washed when you rinse out the shampoo. keep condtioner only on your ends where you have the frizzy prob get a hair cut and trun the heat down on your flat iron! a good conditoiner from a salon is your best bet. NEVER CONDITION YOUR SCALP EVER
