Im getting my hair cut, and i want ot know if I would look soog diwth side swept bangs? I'm going to straighten it alot, so dont worry about the curls.

My first question is is there any difference between a flat iron and a ceramic straightener? If so, what is it? I am going to purchase a ceramic straightener (which I believe is the same as a flat iron) and I wanted to know how exactly to use it and if I need to use any hair spray or gel to achieve the silky glossy effect that so many other people have. Also, should I wash my hair before and/or blowdry a little bit? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

i`m a red head & my friend & i got into a hair duel {pull each others hair until one gives up} i lost because of my tender headedness she said she was too but her hair is brown I thought only red heads could be tender headed? Who is right?

It's not colored, it's kind of a dull dark brown but it looks dull. If I put grease/oil in it, it will weigh it down because my hair is so thin.

im 18. my hairs are falling at a fast rate due to change in environment(i changed my home 5 months ago). plz suggest me something which is gonna help me.
Is it true that hair never grows at the place again from where it had fallen before?

I want to know if after I apply the color can I wash my hair again? This color is applied to hair that has just been washed. The directions only say how to mix and how long to leave it on the hair. After rinsing any chemical out of my hair there is always just a hint of a chemical smell. I usually do this on a Friday so by Monday, when I return to work, the smell is gone. I was also thinking that if I use a conditoner it will take away the smell. I am going to a party tonight and don't want that smell in my hair. I do rinse my hair very well.

only when I straighten it am I able to use an actual curling iron. I love the curls the curling iron does.. which is why I would like to use it. But how in the hell can I keep those curls in? I cant go out to the store and buy any product.. so I just have your basic hairspray, mouse, and gel. Should I like spray the hair I am going to curl first with hairspray then curl it? then spray it again?? someone heeeellllppp me!

Okay i went to the hair salon and wanted to get dark green bangs and all these wild colors guess what? they messed up now I have a chunk of blonde disgusting copper at the back of my head and red and a dull mousey green bangs.And it's all red at the top of my hair.Help! how do i get rid of it should I dye over it with a drugstore color? but I have black dyed hair so it took hours for the lady to bleach!.And it cost so much money....and i'm really upset I don't wanna go to school on monday my mom says 'deal with it'. :(

have long hair and when I get out of the shower my hair is always tangled. I leave my conditionor in my hair for about 5 minutes maybe longer and I have tried many different brands. When I comb it I use a wide tooth comb. Does anyone know anything that I can use or do so it will not get so tangled? I would like to use something that does not make my hair look greasy.
