now I'm black, my hair used 2 a quater way down to my back, but closer to my shoulders, after getting my hair braided two weeks ago, I took it out and my front of my hair was still long and healthy but the back was short, thin, and uneven. I realized it was cuz my braids were 2 tight, any advice on what products I can use to get back and thick long hair back.

I have two daughters. My oldest is seven and my baby is 2. They both have hard to manage hair. It won't grow! My seven year old's hair has been shoulder length since she was four lol. Now I am noticing that my two year old is developing hair just like hers! They both have such baby hair in the back that it mats up and won't do anything. You can pull a piece of it up and it stays there. That is how bad the texture is. And to top it off, they both have double crowns. So when you comb their hair down straight in the back, it automatically parts. Thank god they got their hair from their daddy lol. We have tried different shampoo, trims, vitamins and everything else but NOTHING works! Any new ideas would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

i really want a PROFESSIONAL hair straightener for xmas and i want the sedu or solia from www.folica.com but my parents don't want to have to pay the customs tax since i live in canada. can anyone recommend me a really good PROFESSIONAL and i emphasize that - hair straightener that is abvailable in canada and not online. $100 + range is okay so don't worry about the price.

ok i usually straighten my hair. but i just used a 2-hair treatment one is a straightening cream. apply to hair and then leave for 10 minutes then rinse with warm water. then apply the second application wich is a "Neutralizer" and leave it for 5 minutes. then rinse hair (again) and it says dry hair and style as you like. (other info. it says it leaves it straight for uhh months, i dont have to worry about rain and other bad stuff if u use a iron. ) soo yea basically will this work? im in the 2nd treatment RIGHT NOW!

I have naturally blonde hair and dyed it brown and I was just wondering what stripping of the hair is and if I should do it to go back to my natural color, will I go back to it or does more "blonde" color have to be added after the stripping. Thank you.

My daughter is 17 and had her hair bleached from a licensed cosmotologist who isn't affiliated with a salon. She was allowed to leave there with a chemical burn the size of an orange and some on her neck and scalp. It was nearly 2 hours before I seen her and rushed her to the hospital. She is the burn unit and is required to have skin graphing and her hair has been shaved on the back of her head. I want very badly to know there is something I can do. Or am I at fault for allowing her to go there? I thought if someone was licensed she would be okay. I am more concerned with this not happening to other children than anything, but I also have a heap of medical bills coming. Is this something with the beautician or the product itself? It was not left on too long nor did they allow it to burn- when she complained of burning they applied cold water for some time. I am not a cosmotologist so I have no idea and Lord forgiving, I wasn't there.

My hair is really thin, so it is hard to do a lot of stuff with. I get tired of having my hair the same way ever day. if you could explain to me in detail a way to put my hair up that would look good and maybe even find a picture of how it is suppose to look i would really appreciate it. I've been dyeing my hair half my life (I'm turning 30 next month !)
I had a great excuse though because everyone goes grey in my family prematurely.
I am very pale with no pink tones. Milk white.
I have very pale green-blue eyes. They look pale grey in sunlight.
I have bene dyeing my hair either light blond or light red forever.
Kinda of sick of them.
What is the most appealing and flattering shade for my complexion ?
Also my hair is medium short with razored edges. Im growing it out this Winter/Spring

Ok so I have a tendency of dying my hair a lot. Light or dark. I had dark brown hair and i just dyed it this really bright red color but since my roots were grown out, only the roots of my hair are bright red and the bottom is like this nasty reddish brown color, it looks retarded. does n e one have any suggestions on how I should get it out. I want light brown hair with blonde highlights. If i bleach it, it will turn orange because i have tried bleaching my hair several times and it always turns around especially if its red now. I have also tried the hair color stripping kit from sally beauty supply and it didn't really work that well when I had dark brown hair unless anyone knows a better product to use that you know will work. Will peroxide bleach my hair better than actual hair bleach? I'm desperate please help me, i feel so ugly with this hair color. please help me, please!!!!
