If you are a darker color...do not try to do it by yourself. You need to strip the darker color off of your hair first in order to let the lighter color take hold. It is expensive to go blonde with a pro, but it is SO worth it. You can look horrible and damage your hair if you try to go really light at home with less expensive kits. Plus, if you are darker, you will need to keep the roots taken care of.

Do you mean at home? With home made items like lemon juice? That only lightens it to a small degree and, if your hair does not respond well it could look orange. I don't think that I'd recommend that. If you want to bleach your hair at home, you can buy Quick Blue powder bleach (blue foil packet) from Sally Beauty Supply and the 40 or 50 volume CREME bleach. You may not like the results depending on your hair structure, as it needs to be processed under a heat system or blow drying (while wearing a plastic shower cap) and don't forget the toner or it will be orange. Takes a long time depending on color and texture... hope this helps. Good luck.

uh, huhhhh ?
Never heard of the shade 'blonde homemade' . . . what other color is like that ?
and FYI . . . blonde is not really dye (which means adding color) but bleaching (removing color) although many bleaching processes leave hair an ugly straw color so you may have to add some dye later to compensate for the bleaching.
but again, what color is blonde homemade ?

Well, depending on what color your hair is, it might not be easy to do it at home. If you have brown hair, then you could use peroxide to lighten it gradually (put in spritz bottle, spray on hair, then blowdry). Lemon juice could work as well but it is better if your hair is already a shade of blonde. If your hair is more than 3 shades darker than the blonde you want it to be, seek professional advice.

Firstly do not strip your hair, it makes it dry, very unmanageable and can even make your hair fall out. Have a consultation at a hairdressers, they are free! see what they say. I tried to dye my hair blonde at home and it went ginger! be wary!!!!!!!!!!!
