Shaving is fast. If you have lots of pit hair, cut the excess off first.
Depilatory creams (Nair, Neet, etc) works well too, but it takes several minutes. It can irritate the skin, so try it first on a small patch of skin on your forearm. If it doesn't irritate too much, then go for it.
If you're a dude and you wanna get rid of pit hair, GOOD FOR YOU!!! It looks so much better than having a monkey in a head lock. Best of luck!

If you have a lot of hair and you sheve you will walk around like an ape for a few days and the pain will be bad i know this to be true for my self from past if you can it is best to use wax or just cut off your arm that is what i wanted to do

Dude, shave them. If you don't want to nick yourself, use one of those bladeless things (which in my opinion smell horrible!). But yeah, shave or cream, you pick.
