my hair is so tangly! it also itches alot (my hair gets itchy often in the morning), but i've never had lice before. i don't use anything on it, no hair spray, highlights, dyes, nothing. i use a shampoo with a conditioner in it.

Lately, about a fe days ago actually, I've been noticing that when I run my hands through my hair..it's falling out. Unfortunatly in the mornings for the past two weeks I haven't dried my hair, I've just scrunched it with mousse and hairspray. Now, my hair is very thick so even thought I apply a ton of conditioner in the shower, I have huge knots. Could my hair be falling out because of the harsh brushing or the lazy way I've been doing my hair for the past two weeks?

weave. A girl I work with has the cutest weaves however I get the feeling that she is trying to pass it off as her own and maybe I should just compliment her on her hair. I used to wear weaves and have been out of touch on new tecniques to making it look as good as hers. I want to ask or see her technique but how do I ask w/o offending or embarrassing her or myself. I asked who did her hair and she stated that she did, should I ask her to do mine since she is good at it, we only know each other from work when we casually pass each other.

I have wavy, medium brown, layered hair just below the shoulder. It used to be past my waist but was too much trouble, and I only liked it that long when I was going out. Where can someone find extensions to try on (i'm in upstate NY)? Then where's the best place to buy them from that isn't too expensive? I'm on a terrible budget.

ok so i must have the worst hair ever. First of all, it's always frizzy. And i have split ends and its so tangled up. I want my hair to be smooth and silky. I have wavy hair now and it is very plyable (I hope that is the right word). My hair does whatever I want it to with some work. It goes curly or straight but if I perm it that means less work for me. But I still want to have straight days. Is that possible?

naturally i was blonde and then it turned this horrible blah dirty blonde around 8th grade. last year i dyed it medium brown and i really liked it, but some people (my parents mainly) said it was too dark since im really pale. i hate this nasty dirty blonde color coming out of my head. i dont want to be blonde again, and i really liked medium "chestnut" brown. should i just dye my hair again or were my parents right about darker hair colors not looking good on pale skin?

My hair is really short know because I too cut it. There was alot of breakage and my hair dresser cut it to even it out. I hate it, I mean the hair cut is cute but i hate short hair like this, I think I look like a boy. Ive been taking hair, nails, and skin vitamins but I doubt that they have a huge affect. ^^^ About 2 years ago one of my friends started getting me in the habit of picking at my split ends on my hair. Now i cant stop picking at my hair and i think that is all i do, expecially while im in school because i just start doing it not thinkning about it. Its not that bad when i am out of school but i still find myself doing it. I just like take my hair and split the ends off or like pull them off and sometimes i tear off a peice of hair that is not even a slipt end. ((( i DONT pull my hair out))) I have really pretty hair but like the part of the hair that i pick at ALL the time is in the back like under the reast of my hair. So now it is like shorter than the rest of my hair and really just messed up and not healthy. No one can see it but it really bothers me. I dont want to mess my hair up any worse. I just dont know how to stop picking at my hair.

The whole process was a combination of 2 dye jobs and a cut. my hair is dark and i wanted to dye it hot pink/red for halloween (it looks amazing!) First she had to lift the color, and then rinse it, cut it, dry it, dye it, rinse again, and then finish the cut, and style. it took four hours. How big of a tip should you leave for a job like this?
