HA HA!! That product is so old!!
I remember using that {snap}back in the 80's. when i wz a hairstylist doing Gerri curls!!
But seriously, if it's still on the market then it's still must b good..but there r more advanced products out there...SnapBack tends to dry the hair a little...but it smells nice. Chek the label to c if it has "alcohol" in it..that's whats drying the hair if i remember correctly...u had to use their moisturizers along w/ the Snap Back...then u had to sleep w/ a plastic cap so the juice wouldn't get all over everything...
My advice, if u want to, use it..but its better to get a nice leave-in conditioner to define your curls.

I've heard of Snap Back and I also used it when I had a carefree curl back in the day. What I used it for is when I reverse my curl (st right hair) I would put the Snap Back in to bring my carefree curl back. So I wouldn't use Snap Back in your hair. Go to your local beauty supply store and they can suggest a product for you to use.

Never tried it but as a hairstylist I can tell you that the Defining gel from Aquage is the only product that you will ever need to diffuse curly hair... Comb it in first for even coverage and then diffuse with high heat and low airspeed
