Trimming the hair doesn't make the hair grow. It just makes it healthier. The trick to help it grow is to keep ends trim every 6 weeks. Remember trimming don't make the hair grow it just make it look neat and healthy...wash your hair at least once a week..use a good conditioner...Deep condition your hair everytime you wash it..Massage the scalp everyday..Massaging the scalp will help it to grow..No blow drying or curling...Heat can damage the hair. And use a good moisterizer for stying..moisterizer is good for helping the hair to grow.

You should get your hair trimmed every few (6-8) weeks. Cutting your hair will not make it grow faster that's just a myth the reason some people think that is because if you keep it trimmed you won't get split ends. No split ends no breaking off. There is not a shampoo or product that makes it grow faster, but if you eat right and are getting proper nutrition your hair will be healthier. Also use a good salon shampoo not the cheap junk you get at Walmart or a grocery store. It might cost a little more but you'll notice you don't have to use near as much and I think you'll be very happy with the way it makes your hair look.

No need to trim it all the time. Hair grows from the root, so it wouldn't make a difference. But! keeping it healthy at the ends can make the growing-out process much easier - you won't be tempted to whack it off if you're happy with the growth periods.
I'd suggest going to a trusted stylist and getting it shaped NOW so that you've got a style you like while it's growing out. Tell your stylist your plan - you'd want something that will look good now and later, is low maintenance, and doesn't need heavy daily styling (you'll be frustrated if your newly long hair is fried!).
If you do this, you can probably go 2-3 months without cutting it.
I've heard tea tree shampoo stimulates growth, but I have nothing to back that up. Sorry!

No... thats an old wives tail, If you get it trimmed every month then it can't grow, hair only grows a 1/2 an inch a month, try going every 8-12 weeks that will keep it healthy but allow it to grow at the same time

It is a wive's tale about hair growing faster. The rate is determined by your genes. Your hair does not all grow at the same rate, same for your fingernails. The only place your hair is alive is at the root, so once it grows out, it does not grow any further. The only reason to trim your hair would be to remove split ends and to keep it looking even because of the relative differences in how much each hair grows every month.

I get my hair trimmed every 5-6 weeks. It keeps it looking healthy and stops split ends so my hair can grow faster and stay healthy. You will see a diffrence trimming your hair often. I think the products you need are a GOOD shampoo and conditioner for your hair type.

Take the vitamin Biotin. It's a B vitamin that is of course not clinically proven to to make hair grow, but I assure you it works for me. I take like 1500 mcgs twice a day, and my stylist can't believe how quickly my hair grows. I get a trim once a month, and my hair was boy short/ Meg Ryan short, and 3 months later it was chin length. The vitamin is cheap, over the counter, and really good for your hair, skin, and nails. I actually hate that it makes my nails grow so quickly!

Its not true that cutting your every so often makes it grow faster or longer but you should get it cut every 6-8 weeks but just the split or dead ends. You should take a multi vitamin or a hair vitamin also Biotin is good for your hair skin and nails to help it grow.

The hair is not just a part of your body and it is a symbol of beauty, status and health. It is important for you to take proper care of your health in order to prevent early hair loss. Learn here https://bitly.im/aMKiF It is not a very serious problem and with a little bit of caution you will be able to prevent further hair loss. There are certain uncontrollable factors like pregnancy conditions or certain illness or genetic factors that will result in hair loss. But, this does not mean that you cannot do something about your hair loss.
