Hair - October 2006

I have trouble with my hair. I use Pantene conditioner, the kind for curly hair. My hair looks nice out of the shower, but inevitably poofs right back up.
Sometimes I try to straighten it (I have the Maxiglide straightener) but it usually turns out still at least a little poofy.
Anyway, Im 13, so I can't go to a salon or get it relaxed or anything, so....help?

Ok it me agin mixed girl. my face is just breaking out in pimlpes and in one sapoton my cheeks and when one leaves one apprears. Medications won't relly work. What can i do??? Pleez b nice iam cheap. :}

How can i stop my hair from shedding? I noticed that I have alot of new growth, but i'm shedding as well. I shed 50 hair per day ( approximately) i know i shed less than 100.

I have tried Nutrine Garlic shampoo and Gralic conditionner. It doesnt seem to slow it down. What else can i do?what products can i use?

I had long long beautiful hair before! I can't afford extensions (poor college student). I just need to get past this icky length. Is there any vitamins that help? I've been trying to grow it back out for 2 years and i'm at the almost shoulder length point. So... any suggestions?

Well i am biracial and alot of us have kinky long dry hair. But i really would like to get it staright nothing will do it. I flat iron it. It won't stay. And not a perm. It'll take my hair out. WHAT CAN I DO??????

I have blonde hair, not straight nor curly, just kinda wavy. Can I get cornrows. Will it look ok?

And, does it hurt and what do you do when u gota wash your hair and to take it off. Does it ruin your hair?

PS. And remember, I don't have the normal black curly hair thing...its wavy blonde we are dealing with here.

i have really short hair, well not really, its layered and almost shoulder legnth. i really want long hair because my hair is naturally thick and shiny and everyone says it would look good long. i really want long hair too. but my hair doesn't grow that fast- does anyone know of any shampoo or conditionor or anything besides extensions to help it grow faster?

Ok...I need a really cute hair style to wear. My hair is about shoulder length...maybe longer...and REALLY thick, and layered. All I can think of is a ponytail, a half ponytail, down, and a headband. Those are getting old! Please Help!

Okay I've always been really bad at 'hair stuff' and I was wondering if anyone could give some good advice for what to do with my hair. The picture is what it looks like without blowing drying or anything, but no matter what there are those little stray ends and ughh I just don't like it. There's supposed to be sweep away bangs but yeah.. again I'm bad with hair. My hair is really thin. Any advice on products (brand, where to get, cost.. cheap please!) and what to do. And also.. because of what time I have to leave my house, I take a shower at night and rarely have time to blow dry then and stuff. So what should I do about that? Showering in the morning isn't even an option. Help is appreciated!

My hair is one length and between collar and shoulder length
But has no volume in it

my girlfriends mum is a hairdresser and wants to give me a body perm, she has warned me that it may turn out too curly for my liking, she has also suggested before doing the perm that she will roller set me to show how much the volume the perm will give my hair

Is she right about this as I dont want to put rollers in my hair but my girlfriend has told me that Iam just being silly and that i may need to put rollers in my hair if the perm comes out to curly

and starting to split. Anybody know of any hair secrets that can help strengthen and nourish my ends? I use different kinds of products but maybe someone knows of a home remedy that works well? Either that or a product that you know works really well also.
