Okay I've always been really bad at 'hair stuff' and I was wondering if anyone could give some good advice for what to do with my hair. The picture is what it looks like without blowing drying or anything, but no matter what there are those little stray ends and ughh I just don't like it. There's supposed to be sweep away bangs but yeah.. again I'm bad with hair. My hair is really thin. Any advice on products (brand, where to get, cost.. cheap please!) and what to do. And also.. because of what time I have to leave my house, I take a shower at night and rarely have time to blow dry then and stuff. So what should I do about that? Showering in the morning isn't even an option. Help is appreciated!

I usually put vinegar to give it more volume.

All my products from shampoo to conditioner are good quality and so i paid fair prices for them ($8-$15 for each). You can catch some good sells at places like Walgreens and Walmart for hair care products for $4.99 and some may be 2/$9.99. Find a product that both conditions and strengthens hair. Make sure you are cleansing hair and scalp thoroughly in the shower, otherwise the build-up will cause your hair to break off . You HAVE to make time to take care of your hair. Your hair does not look likes it is growing healthy and strong and that's a shame since you have so much of it. I know you are probably busy during the day and tired when you come home, but it will not take That much time to care for your hair. It's no wonder that your hair is thinning, you aren't caring for it properly. It looks like you have several split-ends that need to be snipped too. I bet you've been neglecting getting it trimmed about every 6-8 weeks too. You should never sleep on wet hair, it will break off. If you wont blow dry it, at least towel or air dry it. Put it in one long braid at night too. I work and I am a mother, but I take pride in my hair and my skin. Whether I am in my house, at work, or over in the grocery store, I have to feel good about myself.

I think you should use Strictly Curls Volumizing Styling Foam by Marc Anthony (which can be bought at Shoppers Drug Mart) to scrunch your hair in the morning. It's not super cheap, but you get your money's worth and one bottle last a long time. When you are done your shower at night, scrunch your hair with just your hands (no products), and the next morning scrunch again using the product at then go. This is quick and easy, and super cute!

If you want to get rid of the stray ends, get your hair trimmed, always condition the bottom of your hair, and rinse with cold water.

I have the same hair but darker. it's very fine and hard to style. right now my hair is about the same length as yours. Something that I've found that works is using a TINY bit of spray gel mixed with a smoothing serum (I only use a drop or two, but it tames that out of control frizz thing I've got goin' on. I use a flat iron if I want it straight, because that will help with the frizz too. try using a clear glaze from your local sally's or other semi-professional beauty supply store-- very cheap, but makes your hair really shiny and will plump the strand for a little more fullness.

hey that is really cool how you got the picture to cover your identity. well, i think you would look very cute with hair to the length of your shoulders (long enough that you can pull it into half a pony tail with the top). i hate hair myself. that is the look i've got now. i first tried cutting it really short (guy short). butt ugly. don't do that. then i waited for it to grow, i went through all the stages and have finally arrived at where i am today. it accents facial features so that is a major bonus. i'm a tom-boy so it is really easy to do. just shower at night, let it dry naturAL. then straighten it in the morning a bit to get out the kinks (or random curls like i have) and then pull it back to a half pony tail. good luck sista!

Try curling it to give it more body.

I'd also recommend getting a trim, or perhaps a drastic cut. I have a friend that had really thin long hair, and when she cut it short (like Reese Witherspoon in Sweet Home Alabama) it looked fabulous since her hair wasn't being pulled flat by it's own weight!

Many people would dye for your heathly long naturally beautiful hair. I personally think your hair is a gorgeous carmel color i've always wanted. But if your looking for something spunk don't go with a blonde to many people do that & it looks to cheap. I'd go with a nice reddish auburn, now i'm not saying a red attention grabbing color. But a dark auburn red, go to the salon & say auburn & they'll be able to show you what i mean lol! Hope this helps & enjoy your summer, Haylee

i used to have long blah hair that i rarely styled much less, blow dried after shower.. then i cut my hair about 10 inches! and you know what, now i wake up with messy hair, i pull it up in a pony.. or when i can, i put some mousse while its damp and i got gorgeous bedhead hair.. not to mention i look great with it too! so.. why not try a drastic hair cut?

since you dont spend a lot of time with your hair i suggest cutting it short... at first it will be a shock but i think you will be much happier with it short. i think this style is really cute......http://journals.aol.com/imagine06/ImagiNation/entries/1773 (first row on the LEFT)
since you dont have thick hair i suggest using a product like big sexy hair of aussie; aussome volume. try using some mousse before bed too!

Hope this Helped!
