How tacky is that!!! Sheesh, most women who dye their hair blond look trashy and cheap because they don't have the right coloring for light hair. And it's not just white women either, I have seen women of many different races and ethnic groups dye their hair blond, and none of them look good.

I don't think MOST white women think it is necessary to be blonde. I'm naturally brunette and I'm still brunette. But I have seen some women,not just white women with dyed blonde hair and it didn't look good with their skin coloring and the dark roots looked horrible.

I'm a white woman. I have brown hair & I love it. There is NO way I would be blonde. And if I were I would SURELY touch up my roots in a timely manner so as not to look like a FOOL.

I guess they think Blondes have more fun, Although I don't think so. I am a natural red head, If I had a choice in this matter , I would have dark brown. But I'm sticking with my natural color I was born with. Some dyed blonds hair looks cheap if they donot have it done right

I dont think its necessary to be blonde, Its just the whole hyped up "blondes" in the entertainment industry. During that period ( i think its passed by now) everyone had to go blonde, even if it didnt look good on them. It was stereotypical calling blondes dumb. and i think many of those who turned blonde just because of this "trend" really were dumb. Im not saying blondes are dumb, just that changing your haircolor just to fit in isnt cool.
the natural hair color thing works best for me. Be happy who you are, with your BLACK hair color :)

I'm caucasian with olive skin and dark brown hair, so needless to say, i would look ridiculous as a blond. still, i'm one girl that loves darker hair, it makes me look exotic, especially since i live in a small mountain town and most people here are like german,polish or irish. and yes, it gets irritating seeing so many damn blondes because most of them don't even get the right color for their skin tone. most blonds look the same if you ask me.

I wish I knew. I'm white, and I have dark brown hair. I would NEVER dye it blonde...it'd be like artificial disintelligence. I hate how that looks too, the dark roots. Don't they think people NOTICE that?

I am a white woman and have dark brown hair. I don not have desire to be blonde. I do think it looks tacky any time a woman colors her hair and doesn't keep her roots colored. I have a ton of friends that don't color their hair, except one who colors her blonde hair, brown.

I have seen many white women and most of them were not blond. Maybe you just live in a trashy neighborhood that goes with your trashy attitude.
