I was thinking of dyeing my hair dark auburn. Right now I have hazel eyes that are mostly green with brown on the inside and dark brown hair. Thanks for the help!

I have tightly curled hair, but it's not really coarse like most black hair. I've had my hair permed twice before mostly out of i didn't have any more options. I do not want to have super straight hair like the results of most perms, i really just want something that can loosen the curls so i can wear it out with some gel or flat iron it more quickly. Is that possible? Can I achieve this with a kiddie perm?

Ok ever sense I started wearing my hair natural my parents and grandmother has been giving me problems. Most of the time I wear my hair in a curly afro. According to my grandma this is not a hair style. She says my hair looks uncombed. Then both her and my dad happend to think that all my hair is going to fall out. Then there my mom who keep asking me when I am going to relax my hair again. My family just won't let me live my life and wear my hair the way I like. I'm sick of this, so i'm thinking of just going to the barber and telling him to chop all my hair off short like boys wear their hair. Has anyone else had problems like this? What should I do? Should I just cut it all off?

I'm a Senior in high school and I have senior pictures this upcoming friday. I'm fair complected and have green eyes.
As of now, I have dark brown on bottom and blonde on top.
I have a hair appointment today, to get highlites, any ideas?
I would like to get rid of the brown on bottom. And maybe go for
a darker blonde on top since its real light now.

P.S. My eyebrows are a light/dark blonde since I was

Help! I've been dyeing my hair for about 5 years. I started off using permanent red dye, then changed to henna about six months ago. I use the stuff in little packets - either red, or a mixture of red and black. I want to either go back to my natural colour (mousy brown), or go blonde. Is there anything I can do to lighten my hair, or do I have to (gulp) chop it all off and start again? I don't want to dissolve what little hair I have (it's really fine). Any help would be hugely appreciated :)

I am just wondering what people think about a 27 yr old woman wearing pigtails? When you see someone of this age wearing this hairstyle what are your thoughts?
I am asking this because I have really long hair and the only way I can wear it is up because it is so hot and in my face if it's down. I know most people would say get a haircut, but I have a 6 mth old who will tangle his hands in a cut that is down and styled. I am sick of wearing ponytails.
My husband thinks I look hot with them, but he's my husband and you know of course he would say that!

I have waist length hair, which i wear pinned up as i work as a nurse.I am always worrying in case i get nits or head lice, can any one sujest a shampoo or treat ment to PREVENT me getting them in my hair as when i ask for somthing from the chemist they just tell me i need to get get them in my head before i can do somthing, but isnt better to be safe than to be sorry.
