Ok, I am thirteen years old and i have brown eyes and chest-nut coloured hair and tanned skin. I have a very FEW highlights , they suit me and the hair dresser said i would look good as a blonde. I want to die my hair blonde now because it would look good and help me have more courage blah blah and help my self-esteem. My dad won't even let me get my highlights re done because they are too expensive, my mum will but i know she wont let me DYE all of my hair. Do you know any good ways to get my parents to let me dye my hair for my fourteenth birthday and any less expensive ways to dye my hair like dooing it at home, how do you dye ure hair at home anyway?

I always had 'normal' skin as in, not oily nor dry, but now I notice my skin is getting a little oily and my hair greasy the day after I wash it. I have been using the same facial moisturiser for the past 2 years but have recently swapped shampoo. Could this be why? Would diet contribute?

I went from dark brown to very highlighted blonde at home me and my mobile hairdresser, hair wasn't in particularly good health due to previous 5 lots of of hair extensions.
It's now quite short and layered from bra length.I hate it,but the condition is poor, its just like cotton wool.
I wash and condition it regularly, leaving the conditioner on,with my head wrapped in a towel for at least a hour each time trying to get some shine back into it.I'm so conscious of it when I'm out,it stops me going out socially.I do wanted to look good for my 6Oth ,hence the extensions in the first place. Now I've ended up with short dry over-bleached hair.I don't get lots of money and the shop wanted £llO.OO to strip colour and cut, what can I do which won't cost me a fortune and will make my hair look in better condition on my 6Oth on the 2nd Nov ,4 weeks awaymy daughter is treating me to a girlie weekend.I'm desperate.Should I get it striped,it it the only solution? Please help desperately seeking Susan

My mom did a home perm on my hair this past Sunday. Well, i have always dyed my hair. So I think that the perm really set it off. I think its FRIED! Its really bushy and dry feeling now. Even after i put gel or mousse on it its still dry. I was just wondering if I could go to a stylist and get a straightner put in it. Or would that hurt it even more.

I've rebonded my hair twice. I'm suffering from a lot of hair loss but no dandruff. I take good care i.e. shampoo & condition my hair every other day(with special products for rebonded & highlighted hair), deep condition it once a month. I do not oil my hair for fear that if I shampoo vigorously to remove the oil; it will shorten the life of my rebonding. Please advise.

I recently got my hair cut short, but it's still below the ear. I was curious if guys would notice the girl less because she doesn't have princess locks of hair; even though she has a very friendly and outgoing personality.

Hi all,
I've been blonde all my life, it's the darkest I've ever been since I'm studying abroad and not on a sports team (so I'm not out in the sun that often). Even so, I have freckles across the bridge of my nose and a few on my cheeks. I get more when I'm out in the sun, but I always have them in said area.
My complexion has been called "peaches and cream," which basically means I'm pale with rosy cheeks.
Finally, I have blue eyes.

I really want a change, any ideas?
My hair is slightly curly and maybe 3 inches past the shoulder. I can send pictures if needed.

Thanks, all!
