Hair with split ends can only be cut off. All shampoos and conditioners which claim to get rid of split ends will only really work to prevent the hair from splitting further, meaning they don't work if you already have split ends.

Get a trim from a hair salon, or wet your hair and trim it yourself (make sure to use a mirror for the back--or get help from a friend) with scissors made for cutting hair. Then you can use those products made for keeping split ends at bay!

Split ends can not be fixed. You have to cut them off. Your hair will be a lot healthier afterwards. Try and get a trim every six weeks or so to keep it healthy.

like everyone else says trim but i also suggest that you either a get a satin pillow case, you can get at sally (beauty supply store) or wrap your hair around your head in a circular motion (like a shot be hive) and tie a satin/silk scarf or bandanna. around it. a lot of friction happens to your hair at night an i found that this was the best way to keep split ends and frizz away. i also suggest doing a hot oil treatment once a week.

No conditioners or hair treatment can cure spilt end, regardless of what they claim they can do.The only way is to trim them.Prevent split ends by avoiding excessive heat styling and do a DIY hair treatment once a week.

if you have extremely long hair then the best trick to use is just trim it. trim it every 4 to six weeks and youll have very healthy hair. keep it short in the summer, long in the winter, and dont forget to use the best conditioners, and treat it to the ends of the strands of hair so it will be more stronger and not split that easily.

well you could trim them. if you straighten your hair then that will also help to seal them. just be careful when you are brushing and fixing your hair. don't brush your hair when it is wet comb it. use a good shampoo. and if you can get away with it only wash it everyother day
