I always had 'normal' skin as in, not oily nor dry, but now I notice my skin is getting a little oily and my hair greasy the day after I wash it. I have been using the same facial moisturiser for the past 2 years but have recently swapped shampoo. Could this be why? Would diet contribute?

I too suffer from oily skin .. which also means i have to wash my hair everday othewise it feels disgusting!
I'm 35 and have more spots now than i did when i was a teenager but my oily skin is due to the contraceptive pill.
Could yours be due to a change in hormones? thats a possibility.

The only good news for oily skin sufferers is that our skin ages more slower than people with dry skin.. so we will retain our youthful looks for much longer!!

You're very lucky. You'll have young looking skin well into your old age. Oily hair and skin is typcial with Mediteraneans (I know - I'm one). Don't use too many cosmetics to dry your skin as this can age it quickly. Think of the natural oils as a natural moisturiser

perhaps. try using old shampoo for a week, then switch. then u can probably tell if thats the main problem. diet, most probably. even though most facial brochures say they dont, they do. eat less fatty/oily foods, drink plenty of water, eat plenty of vegies and fruits. maybe its your facial mosturiser.
