I recently got my hair cut short, but it's still below the ear. I was curious if guys would notice the girl less because she doesn't have princess locks of hair; even though she has a very friendly and outgoing personality.

I think in a way they might notice even more. It's true some guys highly prefer long hair, but many have no preference or even prefer short hair. However, because it is less likely to see a girl with short hair, I think that it makes her stand out just alittle more.

It really all depends on how attractive the girl is. I have a friend who went from green to pink to purple to every color hair to black to short to a faux hawk, and she always has the same amount of boyfriends. Of course, she's really hot and the people she dates are always accepting of that. Lots of people have short hair and are considered attractive, look at Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. It makes it easier to see your back and neck, which is why people wear updo's. But still wear makeup and all the normal efforts you put into your appearance, and your nice personality, and you can still be just as feminine.

Yeah I think so. Guys can be a little finicky. If the girl has a really cool way of dress and personality than I think the short hair would totally rock:)

Yes, I noticed girls with short hair. That's why I married my wife. I haven't seen her with a long hair since I met her 19 years ago. Now my daughter has a short hair, too.
Besides, I even notice girl with "no hair" because of her traditional jilbab. She is a very nice muslim friend. She told me she only shows the hair to her future hunsband.

i have the same problem. my hair was extremely long and everyone noticed me, but i couldnt stand having it anymore so i cut it all off to a little above my shoulders and now there arent nearly as many guys looking my way. it kinda annoys me, but i LOVE having my hair short. just go with it. its their loss if they dont see you.

Oh yes!!!! I've had short hair for years & I'm actually surprised at how many men LIKE it! Now I wear it spikey and the days I don't wear it all spikey, the guys are disappointed. Enjoy it!!!!

Long hair can be an attribute, but some girls look okay with shorter hair.

Well, sure we'll notice if it's tastefully coiffed. But so many women seem to cut their hair short to avoid doing anything to it. So naturally, that's a turnoff to me.
