Hair - October 2006

I am 19 years old and my neck, sideburns, and cheeks, can all grow hair quite well, but my goatee area of my face is bald. I have a very thin mustache, no connector lines from the mustache to the chin (like how goatees are) and no chin hair. Growing a full beard would look weird on me, cause I'd have a bushy face except for a bald middle area. How much longer do you think it takes for a male to fully grow his stuff?

my hair is not thick not at all and my mom said i shouldn't get layered hair cause it wouldn't look good so what other hair styles will look good on poeple with not a lot of hair..

I have medium length dark brown hair, almost black but not quite as dark as most asian people. I am white, and I usually wear a newspaper boy cap most of the time kind of like izzy stradlin of guns n roses, I have been thinking about dying my hair blonde, but don't know if it would look cool. Would that dramatic of a change look good or bad?

My hair is right below my shoulders, and i really want it longer. This may be a stupid question, but are there any ways to make your hair grow faster? i thought about extensions, but my mom said no way. if there are any shampoos or products, will ya'll let me know what they are called? thank you so much!!

okay, my hair is kinda thick, and naturally curly, it looks really good when its wet, i usually put mousse in it to try to get it to stay like that, but after a while, my hair dries and frizzes up, how can i get my hair to keep that wet, curly look without it getting puffy and frizzy?

My daughter is four and she has always had very curly hair. Well since she started school I have been slicking her hair back into ponytails just about everyday (because she has SO much hair her she would get really sweaty) and am begininng to notice that the top part of her hair is more wavy than it is curly.

Since I noticed it I started taking it easy with the brush, I started putting her hair in much looser ponytails but the fact that her curls look so much looser bothers me.

Please advise.

First of all, I'm an African-American, and I have just recently went to a professional hair salon at a popular department store to get my hair relaxed (which chemically straightens the hair) and pressed. During the whole process, I'm feeling a burning sensation on my scalp. After that, the "professional" stylist starts pressing my hair and burns me with the straighteners like 3 times. After paying 55 bucks for her services and leaving, I go to look in a mirror, and discover that I have small BURNS along my hairline, which appeared as though she tried to cover them up with my hair. Even though I don't think there will be a next time, would it be alright NOT to tip for such bad services?
