A step hair cut is simply hair that has been cut in layers...so the layers look like steps. The length is one step and then each layer is like another step.
You'll see layers on most people nowadays.
If you've seen pics of celebrities like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Lindsay Lohan, Ashlee Simpson etc they all have layers in their hair.
Any haircut that is not in one length, probably has some form of layering in it.

haha....pictures are not going to help you much....you will need a demonstration....do you need to cut layers or strait across the bottom
