Okay, I'm a natural light auburn/strawberry blonde color, I currently have medium/dark blonde hair. I'm thinking of coloring it a dark auburn/burgundy. I'm hoping it will look good on my skin tone since I'm naturally a red head, but at the same time I'm afraid the upkeep will be a pain since my natural color is actually a little lighter than the dark red. Should I go for it?

I have brown hair that is shoulder length. I have had perms before and with short hair I feel like a poodle. I have never had a spiral perm, but want to try this. How good are they? How long do they last? Are they worth it? thanks in advance.

Ok, so I went to Blaine's and they bleached my dark brown hair blonde instead of putting red highlights like I asked! Now, my hair is lightish brown with blonde and WHITE in it after my sister put a medium brown in it! What should I do? My hair looks horrible and I hate it! Not to mention it looks fried beyond belief!

Also, if you know of any good hair salons in Boston around Beacon Hill or Somerville, Cambridge, or Arlington that is really good and affordable at fixing this catastrophe, please let me know. Thanks!

I used to be very, very thin & I gained weight so now I'm like 5'3 & 160 lbs, which I believe is obese. I really want to get my hair cut/dyed & hope it will give me some motivation to keep on my new exercise plan (2 hrs a day w/ trainer ) (already lost 25lbs).

But I am afraid
1. people will laugh at me that I am so fat, why bother about my hair.
2. I may not fit in the chair (I am really bottom heavy mostly)

3. the hair stylist will say something like "well, we should cut your hair at this angle because your face is "a little" chubby"


Am I being too sensitive? Should I go?

My hot rollers (clairol ion shine) will only stay in my hair when I roll them down towards my face. I want to pull a section of my hair from the side up, across my face and placing the roller on top of my hair roll backwards. This results in the roller kind of being clipped up and down but the problem is they flop forward and I haven't found clips that will hold. What can I do?
