I straighten my hair just about every day (I know its bad!) and i would like to know a few ways to keep it healthy. I already had to cut it very short because of dry burned split ends! Thanks.

I have worn it in braids at night and then I would take them out and my hair would be wavy. The thing is that I like my hair that's already straight, and it's also thick, but it's hard to take care of. It gets tangled after the shower or after working out. Does anyone know of a good brush or comb I can buy at the store and the brand, because the ones I have pull out too much hair.

I read in a magazine that losing some hair is normal, but I shed all day long, then when I comb out my hair very gently, I lose a lot of hair, and then when I wash my hair I lose the most. I'm not tugging hard, and I don't have extremely long or heavy hair. I'm on lots of vitamins, all natural, and am very healthy. I have brought it up to my hair stylists, and they always tell me I have very healthy, shiny hair, but I'm still worried. Anyone having the same problem?
I saw a commercial the other day for a new shampoo. The model seemed to be having the same problem as me. Whenever she ran her fingers through her hair, she pulled out a lot. They called it hair breakage, and said the shampoo fixed it. I can't remember what its called though. I don't think thats my problem because I don't have split ends. Please help!

I've noticed the style is bangs swept to one side, I think it's really cute. So how do you do this hairstyle? Do you need your bangs cut a certain length? Do you part the hair on one side? Also, do you know of any good websites that have pictures of this hairstyle so if I go to my hairstylist I can show her exactly what I want? Thanks!

Right now my hair is about 2 inches, maybe. Actually, it's probably more like 3 inches. I don't know. Anyways, my hair is really, really curly. It's a little bit on the dry side, too. It's so long now that it looks kind of messy. I push it to one side, so it's sort of like a side-part-- just not as nerdy. I'm kind of bad at describing stuff, if you cannot tell. Anyways, everyone tells me that I should get a haircut. Everytime I get a haircut, it ends up all short and ugly and I always regret cutting it. However, it's summer and I go swimming everyday. It's very annoying when I come out of the water and my hair is over my eyes. My hair has never been this long before.
So, do you think that I should cut it? I just got over a hair-gel phase, and I'm really enjoying my freedom from any form of hair products. If I cut my hair, I'm afraid I'm just going to end up saying "Why did I cut it?" Should I cut it very short? Should I keep it shorter so it's still a little long but managable?

I usually have to wash my hair everyday because of the amount of oil I end up with by the next morning...But I was also getting bored with just defusing it and straightening it...is there anything else I can do? I'd like to have variety. One thing I refuse to do is up-do's...my ears are a disaster! So, please help! It's hard searching for styles & cuts for my hair type, as is! Thanx!

I have really oily hair. I've highlighted it, which worked for a while, but the oil in my hair is just too much. Does anyone know of any 'cure' to minimize the oil in your hair without having to dye it or do any damage?

I'm not gay or even bi. But doesn't seem like there are not many redhead celebrities? The only few I can think of were Molly Ringwald or the lady who played "Pinky Tuscadaro" in Happy Days. And so many celebrities change their hair colour so quick it's hard to tell what their natural colour is!
