I don't know if this will work for you, but I have greasy/oily roots, and no matter what I tried they always looked nasty by the end of the day.
I finally found some shampoo / cond that has seemed to help, it's Aussies PH balance shampoo/cond, it's called "dual personality" it helps with 'the greasies' it took about a week before I saw a result.

I have the same problem. It seems like everytime I wash my hair, it looks gross already by the second day ... I think the trick is to not letting your fingers constantly come in contact with your roots. Don't wash them everyday either. I've found that waiting about 2-3 days helps a little bit (which I know seems gross .. I wear my hair up a lot during these days) ... We just recently found this shampoo that seems to work pretty good: Head-and-Shoulders for Fine/Oily Hair ... give that a try

each and every so often, oddly adequate, this is the type of shampoo you're making use of. For myself, i discover that Pantene, Dove and Pert Plus all do this to my hair. organic Essences is a little greater advantageous, and have self assurance it or no longer, between the greater value-effective manufacturers, clever, will artwork greater advantageous than all. I nonetheless would desire to bathe my hair daily, although this is going to final nice till the subsequent morning, so my hair does not look oily interior the evenings. additionally, attempt making use of a cooler temperature of water, particularly your very final rinse. ingesting lots of unpolluted fruit, vegetables, and grains/fibre will additionally make a contribution to healthful, much less oily hair.

Before washing, rinse your hair with white vinegar. It smells awful but it's great for controlling oil. Also, try to use a clarifying shampoo to remove all dirt and oils when you wash your hair. In between shampoos, you can absorb extra oil with a little baby powder.

I'm not sure how to cure oily hair...if you wash you hair too often that def. will increase you oily-ness, because you hair def. need SOME oil, so by washing it, you just are asking for more!

you can take baby powder and rub it in. it makes your hair a little dull sometimes if you over do, but it really helps when you are having an oily hair day. good luck-ps-you aren't using conditioner are you? don't.

age. trust me on this.
sorry, hun. other than regular washings. hairspray will help soak up some oil I hear.
look at the bright side. at least when you're older, your hair won't be so blasted dry and brittle.
i know....hard to see a bright side when you're standing beneath a cloud.
good luck.

I've heard that you can put baby powder in your hair. If your hair is dark, be careful on the amount you use so you don't look gray.
