Ahh. I have frizzy/wavy hair. It is crazy ridiculous to manage, and like you I generally straighten it. Also like you, I am tired of doing all that crap and just want it to look good natural. For shampoo I use Head & Shoulders 2 in 1 shampoo in ocean waves (i have a dry scalp & it smells soooo good) And for conditioner I use Thermasilk heat activated moisture shampoo. (I like that because it protects when I straighten it too -- it makes my hair super soft) After I get out of the shower when it is still wet I never use a towel to dry it off - always a t-shirt because towels make it frizzy. I brush it really well then I spray john frieda leave in conditioner (step 2 of the frizz ease system) then I use a small tooth comb to comb and evenly spread the leave in conditioner. Then to make my waves more defined I put them in loose waves to dry, then after its dry I use brilliant brunette starlit waves spray. (I am a red-head but the stuff works) Then, if there is any frizz still I use a small curling iron to fix the top and finish the look. It sounds SOOO complicated, but I gave a lot of details and it works and it isnt hard at all. I promise. It looks really pretty! Oh yeahhh and just a tip... once a week i use garnier fruictese 3 minute deep conditioner. I leave it in for 10 minutes then rinse it in cold water to make it shiny. It makes a difference no matter how you wear your hair! I am only 14 and I found a routine/system that works! sorry it was sooo long! I hope it helps though!

You just want your hair to look natural, pretty, without having to torture it into being something it's not, right? I've tried all the shampoos in the universe, and the one that makes my hair feel the best, soft but not limp, with body but not puffed up, isn't one of the expensive salon shampoos -- it's Dove shampoo. Another good one is Umberto, from Target.

Pantene Curls
it has a wax like substance that coats the hairstrand. It prevents moisture frizziness in the humidity. They make a shampoo and a conditioner. You may also want to use a leave-in conditioner on the ends.

First, Come see me..I'm a hair dresser and can advise you on continuing hair care. Contact me on the Frank Joseph Salon website, under beauty salons...Patrice. You can't fix it fast, but you can use a product by Paul Mitchell called foaming pomade. Use little at first as it can make your hair look oily if you use too much.

I am afraid if anybody will be able to give correct answer except the expert who knows the details of the hair, what type of hair do you have and what kind of shampoo will suit you, only that expert can tell. You yourself can also do the job by hit and trial run.

Try something that doesn't have too many ingredients in it...the fewer it has, the better it is for your hair. That way it still keeps the things your hair needs to be healthy and have body and volume. When it has too many chemicals it kills your hair and flattens it out more....I know....it happens, but, try to do what's better for your hair.

I'd go to Sally hari supply and ask them. They have generic brands that are like the really expensive Paul Mitchel stuff. It's awesome.
