Magazines say you're not suppose to wash your hair everyday. If i skipped a day, my hair would be so oily that you could fry something in it.

I have naturally curly hair - with fairly tight ringlets. It's pretty long too, about halfway down my back. Does anyone know what a texture wave is? I'm looking for a way to loosen up the curls just a bit. Not completely straighten it. I still like the wild messy look, just not quite as curly. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do to loosen the curls up some?

I notice that when I'm in the show after I put in some shampoo and conditioner (sometimes only conditioner) a bunch of my hair falls out. I'd be doing the lathering part and when I pull my hands back I can see several hairs. I read on Yahoo! answers that the average daily hair loss per indiviual is roughly 75-100 which seems ridiculous but I guess it's not that out there. Anyways, I was wondering if shampooing and washing my hair less often would slow down this hair loss.

I am 12 years old and I will be entering the 7th grade in the fall I need some help with hair ideas. In 6th grade I wore my hair in a pony tail daily talk about boring. I have a round face and brown hair below the shoulders. My hair is wavy and puffy and not to mention frizzy.
