Magazines say you're not suppose to wash your hair everyday. If i skipped a day, my hair would be so oily that you could fry something in it.

CARE FOR OILY HAIR
Wash your hair with proper shampoo once in 3 days.

If left unwashed for long time it may cause spots on your face and back.

Pay particular attention to the head when massaging the shampoo. Rinse it thoroughly.

Add a little vinegar to the final rinsing water to clean very properly.

Do not use oils unless your hairs get extremely dry.

If a sudden shampooing is required, then use this-Divide your hair into two parts, fluff a little multani mitti power through each section. Rub it well. Keep it for 10 minutes. Brush out thoroughly. Multani Mitti power absorbs most of grease and dirt. For this process, your head must not be very dirty.

I have the same problem with my hair, it's really fine. The only thing I've found that works is to sprinkle some baby powder onto your hair and then comb it through, it really takes the oily look away and you can skip that shower if need be, but it only makes it appear less oily it's not a total fix.

Good luck!

believe it or not, washing your hair everyday causes it to get oily. Your stripping aaway its natural oils when you wash it causing it to overproduce oil thus your hair seems oilier. when you skip a day, if it looks oily dust a little baby powder in it and comb through. If you have long enough hair, the days inbetween washing you should put your hair up in different styles so it doesn't look too oily. Lay off the hair products too if you use alot of it.

First, change the shampoo. Get one for oily hair.
Second, don't wash your hair too often. Once a week or even ten days is enough. In a few weeks it won't get oily so quickly.

Easy! First of all, Hands off!!!!! Don't touch your hair unless you absolutely have too. Also a good trick is to take your hairbrush and add a little of translucent powder and brush away! It really works :) And if your hair is oily, stay away from oily conditioners and shampoos :)

I do this all the time, just sprinkle a little baby powder on your scalp, let it set a few minutes and then brush it out. The power will absorb some of the oil, so you dont have to wash it as often

go to beauty salon and buy tea tree shampoo. it gently dries out oily hair. I have used it for several years and it works great. I also perm it once every couple of years for a longer dry-out!

Use a little talc, like some baby powder. A model I know also uses this dry shampoo stuff.

I use corn startch. Just sprinkle some on and brush it through your hair, If you have dark hair, it may make it dusty looking, so use corn meal instead. Baby powder works too.
