I use Sauve Prrofessonial Color Care Shampoo and conditionar.
Let me explain as to why.
Ammonia That is in like 90% of shampoo and conditionar is really bad for your hair.
This is about the only Shampoo and conditionar I have used that my hair is healthy, with no split ends.
Stay away from any Shampoo and Conditionar that has ammonia in it. Any thing on the back that says ammonia sulfate or something like that. Using color care shampoo will not harm regualr hair.
Yes I am a guy with long hair, but I am not gay. I have used alot of shampoo's in my day, and have either have had dull hair or Split ends or both. But I have almost always got split ends except with Sauve Proffesional Care Color Trement with UV protection.
Like someone stated above me, not all Shamppo and conditionars are not for all people and will get different results, but using this product, has help my hair alot, since i have really fine hair. I think it's around $1.60 per bottle at your local wally world store.
You don't have to take my word for it, but ladys, and guys trust me on this one. I take hair care seriously, even though Socity frowns on guys with long hair.

Shampoo and conditioner's that I like is Revlon. Depending if you have color treated hair (pretty much everyone does), get the one that is for color treated hair. I also use a shampoo I get from my stylist for blonde hair. I use it once a week to really bring out the blonde and follow with a good deep conditioner. Biosilk also has a great silking product, it's a little pricy but really worth it.
You put it in your hair before blow drying about a dime size or more depending on the length. Not only is your hair silky soft but really shinny. Another product from Revlon is all soft your hair will definetly be a lot softer and shinnier.
But you do have to remember to watch the styling products, blow dryers, flat irons, curling irons can really take a toll on your hair.
Try not to wash your hair everyday, that also saves on stress and with the hot humid summer months, not worth all the drama; and believe it or not eating a healthy diet has much to do with your hair. Hope this helps!!

I have booty-length hair and have tried everything. I like Herbal Essence and Pantene, but seriously the lavendar Suave shampoo and conditioner works about the best. And it only costs a buck.

There is NO shampoo that will gave everyone the same results. The best way to avoid dull hair is not to wash it everyday. Never use a brush on wet hair and dont use a blow dryer.

Infusim is the best, they have different formulas based off your hair type, and a hot oil treatment (brand doesn't matter) works every now and again. Hot oil about every 4-6 weeks.

I use Infusium products for colour treated hair and follow that up with the leave in conditioner. I have noticed that my hair is softer and shinier.
