My new dress looks like a very formal bridesmaid's dress to me. The top part is a chiffon halter and the bottom is shiny material (silk?) and floor length. I was going to wear it to a different function, but I am not going now.

I'm a 15 yr old guy.
How do I start? I can't convince parents that think wearing a wristband is a sinful act? One time they payed a detective to see if I wear eyeliner in school (when having a low income). Like another time i was wearing armwarmers and my mom was like crying, I swear (she took away my allowance forever so i won't buy "evil things"). I want to stay in my school in NYC & not have to go live like a hillbilly/amish. Are they psycho? Especially mom. If i try to speak with her nicely, she says that american schools try to make your son want to be different and inedependent and she acts like is a bad thing. I just wnat freedom of fashion. It hurts to see kids with normal parents. If anything goes wrong with me, instead of helping me, she'll blame it on me for listening to metal/punk/hardcore (a style of music that's somehow "evil") My mom is extremely stubborn & sick. Please help me, I'm suffocating. I love my school and the way I look. How do i make my parents NORMAL?

My GF is always telling me I wd look pretty as a girl & is alwas begging me to let try & dress me as a girl once.
She has made me wear kajal,bindi & hairclips & told me I look cute.
But she wants to make an all out effort once.
Shd I let her do it?

I'm getting my things ready for the beach this weekend & want to know if you think corked soled sandals are ok for the beach? I have too many pairs of flip flops & want to try something different. I have to go on field trip tomorrow and will be in Chicago. I'm thinking of wearing my favorite jeans (they fit really well), a simple black thermal, and heeled wingtips (it'd be wiser to wear flats, but I walk SO slow in flats!). But the big problem is my purse--I don't want to carry a purse AND a backpack to carry my lunch in, so I'm thinking of carrying a nice sized handbag with lime, emerald, light blue, dark blue, tan, and white stripes (it's a Kate Spade knock-off). It has a unique shape--it's wider on all sides at the bottom and narrows to two inches wide and eight inches long. Not counting its stiff straps, it's about 10 inches tall. Would that work? Should I add lime (it's the most noticeable color on the bag) to the rest of my outfit?
