I wouldn't advice it. If you have been here at Yahoo Answers long enough, you would know that there are a lot of people who are having problems with infection due to piercing. I almost see them everyday.

Of course it will hurt. but it does not hurt like piercing your ears. Because you have 2 ears, so you'll hurt in two places. I think piercing the nose is better. There are so many people who have their ears pierce. But there are not much people who pierce their nose. It is kind of a style.

it doesn`t hurt at all if u go to a professional who has lots of experience & knows exactly what he`s doing...i know, because i have my nose pierced...it was very quick & the piercer had it finished before i could even blink!!! i have multiple ear piercings, including a cartilage piercing at the top of one ear, and the pain was about the same for my nose as for my ears (except for the cartilage piercing, which was actually worse!)...i didn`t have pain or swelling afterwards...just remember to check out the piercer, make sure he is a professional & his/her shop is clean & everything sterilized, ask any questions u have, ask if u can watch the piercer doing another person to see how it is...if u finally decide to do it, make sure to follow the after-care directions to ensure u don`t get any nasty infections...that`s about all i can think of, hope it helps!!!

From what I hear it hurts much more. Getting ears pierced does not really hurt at all. It is just sort of a pinch. Nose is really painful. It is cartilige.

It doesn't hurt during, but afterwards it feels like you were just punched in your nose which lasts for about a half an hour. They pierce it with a standard gun.

Depends on your tolerance for pain...it is a quick - sharp pain. Make sure the implement they use is sterilized.
