Squats- you stand on the floor legs far apart and squat down and up, lunges- take one weight in each hand (I recommend a 5-10 lb) and take a big step with one leg, squat down, repeat with next leg- do each of these about 3 reps- 20 times each.

The main thing to burning fat is not doing exercises for that particular region, but cardio. Doing squats will make your legs more muscular, which is a good thing, but you cannot specifically get rid of fat on your legs -- the fat doesn't "turn into" muscle when you exercise. You have to do cardio (like running), which burns fat on your entire body. Even though the rest of your body is thin, it's impossible to just burn fat just on your legs, and there's no harm in doing cardio anyways...
And do your cardio exercises first thing in the morning, before you eat anything; this causes your body to go for the fat. Otherwise, you're simply burning off the food you just ate. But if there's no food for your body to burn, you'll burn fat, which is what you want.

Lots and lots of cardio! Walking, jogging, and running. Stay away from aerobics classes untill you get to the shape you want to be, because classes will build muscles faster than regular exercise. Cardio burns fat!!

run, stair steppers, and use a treadmill, try those and ur legs will thin up, u dont have 2 all of them though, but try to do at lease 1 for 50-80 mins a day!

Every other day, some sort of aerobics that include jump roping, squats, lunges--
Every day, pilates or yoga that will make muscles lean. (and it helps your mental health too!)
