I've had my nose pierced since April '06. It never was infected, and it's not now. It just smells sometimes, especially when I move it. it's a totally normal piercing - but smells like dead flesh sometimes. It's completely healed. But sometimes I get that "what's that smell" thought running through my head.

Should I clean it with something?

i am going to my lip peirced soon and i have a few questions that i cant seem to get solid answers on.
how long before you can change your jewlery?
does it bleed?
and most importantly
how badly does it hurt? i have heard everything from terrible pain to nothing more than a lobe piercing. i also have a low to moderate tolerance for pain.
