Could it be TOO summery?

It looks fine - and it's not showing too much skin - i'm sure you'll get a lot of compliments on it!

I love Lilly Pulitzer, but can't afford her clothing line *sigh*, but in all honesty, I think the dress IS a little bit too summery for Easter. If she has something more pastel, that would be fine. People tend to wear the pastel colors in Easter church services, not the brighter colors. Just trying to be honest. :-) You could buy that outfit though for the first day of summer! Hoppy Easter!!!

it's a gorgeous dress, but it might be a tad bit summery for an easter service. people normally wear pastels and light colors during this time of year. if you are looking for a dress within that price range, i would recommend this one:

pair it with a light green or pink cardigan, sandals or flats, and some spring-y jewelery. it would be more fitting for the easter season.

Yes, but how many starving children could you feed with the $248 you are spending on that easter dress? Church isn't a fashion show, nor is it a place to show off how much money and nice things you have.

It does depend where you are. If you're in West Palm Beach of course it would be fine, but if you're in Minnesota, I'd think twice LOL. It depends also what "going to church" means to you. But, hey, I go to church regularly and I'd be fine with it.

It's cute, but like something you would wear to the pool.

no that's a really pretty dress, i would pair it with gold or bronze flats, gold hoops, then curl your hair and pin half of it back.
