Yesterday I got my bottom lip pierced on the left side, and I've got a 16 guage ring in it. I've heard that since it doesn't go through muscle, and only the skin, it's hard to tear unless you catch it on something. I have a show coming on on Friday, will I be able to sing without tearing or hurting my new piercing?

Thinking of having a Black Light party for a 6th grade dance.Was looking for easy and cheap ways to decorate the gym. I was thinking of balloons but what colors works best with a black light. I bought a beautiful handmade skirt from a store that imports clothes from India. It's a typical Indian skirt, with embroidery and embellishments, but it REEKS of either gasoline or some other sort of petrochemical product. I'm washing it as we speak, but I wonder what on earth that smell is, and why does this beautiful skirt smell this way? This isn't the first time I've noticed this sort of thing, but it's the first time since I've discovered Yahoo answers!

Ok so you know how elderly people or sometimes even middle aged people get those dark veins in their legs? The ones that really pop out and are a dark purple-ish color? Well, how do you prevent yourself from getting these? Or, how do you prevent yourself from getting these too early in your life?

I have white hair which has been bleached. The problem I have is not with nasty frizzy hair or anything...it looks great when I flat-iron (I know that's bad for fryed hair...but I can't stop).
My problem is that my hair constantly breaks off at the ends (even the day I got my hair cut).
What, in your experience, are the best deep conditioning treatments and conditioners to repair hair that easily breaks???? Thanks a ton for your help :)

...I strayed! lol....I've been going to the same woman for a few years- I love what she does, but wanted a bit of a change...I truly prefer my original stylist (what is the PC term now anyway?) and have made an appointment to return....there is no getting past the fact that I went to a different salon as I am now a brunette (was blonde)

Well basicaly im a girl and i have longish hair which it about 4 inches under my shoulder, its natrully curly wavey and everything so i straighten it, it dark brown and i have some red highlights but very dark so not very noticable, so what would be the best hairstyle for me at school. normally for school i do a quiff, high pony, hairband, and left out straight, i want something a little bit different but not alot.

My hair is just over shoulder length, light brown with a few natural blond tints to it......I don't want a dead straight side fringe look and don't suit no fringe. I do not have an hourglass shape but I do have curves. I have noticed that men would pay more attention to women who have nice shapes and "unpretty" faces but they wouldn't know how intelligent they are b/c they don't approach them since they don't look like a supermodel.

I don't understand. Would they rather have a wife who can just look good with a 10 shape and can't hold a intelligent conversation or a wife that's looks decent with a 5 shape and can tell you about astrophysics?

pixie off of la ink has dimple piercings and i think that they look awesome on her i personally could never pull it off but she can when she smiles they don't even look like piercings!!

so my question is what do you think of dimple piercings and facial piercings in general?
