Here is our I do a dramatic eye....
1.Use a light purple on the lower lid up to the creaseline of the eye.
2. Then from the creaseline to the browline use a white eyeshadow.
3. Take a dark purple eyeshadow and put that in the crease of your eye. Make sure to blend the top and bottom parts of the dark purple into the white and light purple.
4.Next use a violet or navy blue eyeliner on your upper line lash and lower line lash.
5. I then take a dark blue eyeshadow (using a q-tip) to go ontop of my eyeliner (that i put on my upper and lower lashlines..stated in #4). Blend the dark blue into the light purple that is on the lower lid.
6. Put on lots of mascara.
7. Afterwards, clean up any loose eyeshadow that might be left on your cheeks. I've used this technique a lot and ppl love the outcome of it!! :) I picked it up from Clinqiue when i went to visit one time. Hope this helps!!

Use a combination of Charcoal Grey and Lilac or pink. Cover the entire lid from lash line to brow with the Pink and then fill below the crease to the lash line with the dark charcoal. Line with black liner and black mascara and smear some of the pink under your lower lash line. Try to find powders with a little sparkle for a more festive effect.

You should use a thin deep purple eyeliner and a dark purple eyeshadow. It will make your eyes pop. Just go light on the lipstick if you do that. Remember, accent either the lips or the eyes, not both or you wind up with the Hooker Look!

Look on youtube...I just watched some great eye makeup videos that were really helpful. Just do a search for "eye makeup" and you'll find girls who will show you on video how to acheive the look you want!

use black eyeliner at the top and bottom of your eye. then use a smokey gray color for your eye lid and a darker gray or even black in the crease of your lid~! this should give you the smokey eye look like jessica simpson has had at some award shows! also use a lengthening masacara, in black~!

i just saw this photo and little recording on how to do a smoky eye on sephora with stila's smokey eye palette. can't wait to try it- maybe it'd work for you if you chose colors that you like on your own?
good luck!
