Why do men pay more atention to body shape than intellect?

Question

I do not have an hourglass shape but I do have curves. I have noticed that men would pay more attention to women who have nice shapes and "unpretty" faces but they wouldn't know how intelligent they are b/c they don't approach them since they don't look like a supermodel.

I don't understand. Would they rather have a wife who can just look good with a 10 shape and can't hold a intelligent conversation or a wife that's looks decent with a 5 shape and can tell you about astrophysics?

Well I have searched this a lot so I dont end up feeling hateful towards men.
They are programmed to look for the most supple fertile healthy young looking creatures
having a good waistline and sleek shape implies youth
even older women can give illusion of youth though
jane seymoure maybe be 56 years old and have wrinkled face, but man her Body on Dancing with the Stars is incredible!
Men like brains and beauty. But beauty comes first.
Think of it this way, people have evolved to be mor eintelligent, but our ancestors weren't sitting around getting to know women via their brains.
it is visceral intial visual attraction that keeps men humming along and the human race repopulating

It's hereditary and there is no real way to explain why men like something aesthetically pleasing. The truth is that some people prefer to be looking at someone or something when talking, but when that object is an eye sore then you are less inclined to interact with it. Men are animals and will probably not pay any attention to you even if you are the most beautiful woman in the world. As a guy I'd rather be lulled into the conversation than dragged into it.

Girls and women try to shape their bodies like the Cola bottle suggests..an hour glass figure..however, most need to go on a diet..so they drink lighter stuff. Their preferences are for their own images really if a man like the person and the inner being then the cola is just a drink at the end of the day. Weird imagination but true if you think about it. Guys are supposed to live cola bottles and handle them roughly..just they way these type of girls are looking for..a match in sorts. And, then you wonder why I don't drink the darn stuff!

guys WONT approach girls who look like supermodels. I dunno why. My friend is a part-time model and she's the only one of my group of friends who's been single since forever.
I think it's cos guys think that because she's pretty she's more likely to say no. Im not saying all less attractive girls put out. But i know of at least two girls who get the guys just cos they're a sure thing. I'm afraid that all guys only want one thing.

Women don't even know what men really want. We like women who look like strippers. Big boobs, round j-lo ***, very hot. All these girls that try to look like models are morons. Models are women that try to conform to a GAY MAN'S vision of beauty. That's why today's models look like 14-yr old boys. STRAIGHT guys like curvy women. The problems women face in the US are internal. Self doubt and catty competition are a plague and if you don't believe me just count how many reality shows there are where the goal is to be rated 'most pretty' by other women.

We are visual creatures. What? Girls don't do the same? I can't tell you how many girls I've run into that say,"I won't date a guy shorter than me." Even if the guy is unfunny, out of shape, ugly and a loser. They always say,"I want a guy with a sense of humor." I know plenty of funny guys who are funny and single. So you tell me.

If she is not intelligent then what's the point!

I'm not saying i'm gonna date a fat female cause she is smart. Obviously she isn't smart enough to go to a gym!

But if her face is ugly what's the point!

Got to have balance gotta work with what you got. Don't go for the Stylish intelligent type that workout and have good jobs. if your the intelligent Fat type!.
